It's more truck than I was looking for, and not sure if I'm ready to commit to the black lifestyle. But at this point, it's not much more $ than an OR without the blower.

Pretty much my same experience, I didn't want a truck with a blower and when I got ready to walk away, the dealer offered another 2k off the truck, so I took the plunge

I say if the money difference is low then get it, but getting the color you are happy with is important

A lot. Check out my build page.
Guess mine is a "fake poser Pro" but I would say mine is FAR better than the package Toyota put together. Mine is a 2014 TRD OR but I added the Fox Ultimate kit from Toytec, added the TRD wheels, 285/75/16 KO2 tires, blacked the badges, added the TRD shift knob, PRO grille with color match surround, added RCI armor, LED lighting and BHLM with color matched paint and MANY other tasty upgrades.

So....while mine may not be an "official" TRD Pro.....it's better. Just poser I guess eh?

I will never, ever, ever, ever own another black vehicle in my life. Sweet truck, nice price, but yeah. The black would be a deal breaker for me.

Technically, yes. It's not a Pro. It may be far superior in every single way, but it's still not a Pro.

I had a black C-class MB and was the most beautiful car in the world for one hour a day after washing... can't imagine a truck in black that is used as a truck Pro-SC or not. Never again. But hey with all the money you might be saving just have a car wash dude on your "staff" at home to keep it nice. :)

That's awesome and it was not meant as an insult. Don't want the guy paying all that money for a listed Pro that isn't one that's all. I'm sure your truck is the bomb and way better than a Pro. Just don't seeing the point in paying extra money for a fake Pro if it's not a pro. If you actually sold your truck, would you list it as a TRD Pro when you sold it?

Well, there she is. My new truck. I paid loads less than he had in it, and am already learning to love the color even though it already go rained on. Man, this is worlds ahead of my other one. Gonna save the speakers and just listen to the SC whine for awhile.

Yep, and the low gas prices help take the edge off that.

It is only about $4 more a tank than regular if you are down to fumes. Not a big deal and completely worth the extra power.

Absolutely worth it. After driving some NA 4.0s, this thing has a ton more power. And I've been getting 14-15mpg in my 01, so no worries here!

Yep, and I've learned with mine after having it a few weeks, it's easy to maintain close to your regular (non boosted) mileage if you keep an eye on the gauge and don't boost.

I've found it's awfully hard to resist though... :burnrubber:
