In my (seemingly endless) search for a Taco, I've found a local dealer that just took an '01 SR5 (not TRD, unfortunately) 4-door in on trade. I pulled the Carfax and it's up to date on service. It has 108,000 miles and I'm fairly sure it has the options I want (haven't seem in it person, just pics in email). It's had two owners, passed frame inspection, and seems like it's in good shape, etc. No red flags as far as I can tell. If it had a manual tranny and a topper I'd be sold, but I'm pretty darn close as it is. If it matters, I'm planning on hauling lumber (woodworker) and camping out of it (assuming I can find a topper), in addition to being a daily driver.

Price hasn't come up yet in emailing and it's not listed at all on their website so... I'm wondering what I should offer. I think this may be my truck, but of course, I don't want to get ripped off and I've been looking a good long while, so I don't want to be disappointed. Planning on paying cash, or maybe cash and a trade, depending.

What kinda prices would y'all pay for a truck like this? I'm in Ohio and if you can find a decent 1st gen, they're usually rusted out, so examples in good shape tend to go for top dollar (which has been the thorn in my side). Anyway, let me know!

with that low miles in florida I would pay $10-11k for 4x4 and $7-8500 for 2wd. ball park though.

Around here they go for $12000 pretty easily. You probably aren't going to get it "cheap", and it's probably worth whatever they want for it.
