Thanks for everyone’s help on my earlier post about the 2018 Tacoma.

My next question is I’m looking at a 2019 TRD pro. 75K Miles, leveled, Excellent condition and leather interior. Is it worth 39k?

I don't trust previous owners who level their truck. And while depreciation on these trucks are great, 13 cents per mile depreciation is fantasy land. At that point it makes zero financial sense. Buying new gets you at least a point better on interest rate, zero miles, and a warranty... So if you're dropping 45k after tax, why the hell not buy new?

Someone will buy it. I sure wouldn't. But someone would.

If you bought the Pro do you plan on Modding? If you plan on Modding it might make more sense to shop for a lower trim and use money saved on Mods.

Better deal than the guy in 3G FS with a 2019 with 126k for $40,000. But still seems a tad spicy.

Here is a 2019 with 60k miles for $5,500 less same color, 1 owner and a ton of maintenance records. Only catch is came out of VT.

Thanks. I was planning on offering them 35k but after seeing that one I may pursue this one. I’m buying a second Tacoma to get my gen 1 off the road.

I paid $40k plus tax for my truck mid August 2020. It had 6 miles on it.

$40k for a truck with 75k miles on it, even a Pro version, seems steep in my humble opinion but I also wouldn't use everything that a Pro offers off-road use. Do you specifically want the 3G Pro for what you intend to use it for? If so, then it might be the right truck for you, and maybe that's a great deal, especially if you can get some more relief on the price. Their website shows you can "unlock" further savings (I didn't click on it cause they always ask for contact info before freeing up the discount), so its not unreasonable to offer them what you think its worth. Or look it up on KBB and see what it says you should be for that truck at a dealer. I can say that local Toyota dealers in my area are offering new 4G 4x4 double cab SR5's with heated seats (granted, they are cloth and not leather) for the same money, and you have a brand new 4x4 truck with brand new truck warranty for the same $$, albeit less off road capability.

The 2019 Pro should’ve been damn near level off the showroom floor, they came stock with a 1 inch lift in the front.
If it’s clean $40k is not crazy but it better have the Pro Fox shocks. The caveat being you’re going to have to service the shocks sooner than later, assuming they haven’t already.

KBB.com, or edmunds.com is a far better way to shop pricing than to ask a bunch of random's on the internet that bought a vehicle that was sunsetted in 2023.

i paid $40k for my '18 trd sport, with 50k miles on it about 3 years ago. because despite the well-known facts of new trucks having a better interest rate, $48-52k for the then-new trd-sport fell outside my allowable payment budget. and i specifically wanted the inferno color, which was discontinued in 2019. so having a nearly-unobtainable payment, on a new truck color i didn't want, is a no-go for me. dawg.

the formula would've also changed if a manual transmission was available in a 4dr long bed, but it's not. and i was unwilling to sacrifice bed space for rowing my own.

@ almost 7 years old, seems a tad high in price & mileage, but I honestly don't know the market. And I agree about the shocks needing a rebuild soon.

I'd search for an Off Road. Best value for the buck if your searching for a TRD!

it's also quite likely a significant reduction in insurance premiums. insurance companies love charging extra for special edition high tier models.

I bought my 2019 sport in November of 19 for 40k. Yes, I understand it is a pro but, it is still a 6 year old vehicle with unknown use, abuse, maintenance, and 75000 miles. Buyer beware. Ski

I would stay away from any lifted/leveled trucks unless it drove into Amazon jungle and required to be leveled
