Assuming from the photos that this bumper does not allow for reinstallation of the hitch? Just curious. Looks great though.

On that bumper (and some of the other offerings as well) the hitch receiver is integrated into the bumper itself. The license plate flips up and exposes the square receiver hole. Factory hitch mount is no longer required.

    Ours.

Hidden hitch, reuses factory licence plate lights, relocates trailer plug, optional light cutouts and optional back up sensor cutouts. Includes the license plate bracket.

It is not tow rated but we can safely say youll never need to be concerned. We built a hitch, stronger than what comes on the truck, then designed a bumper around it. We've trailered other trucks, on car trailers with no issues.

Shackle points are 3/4" thick and pass through the bumper and wrap around 2-1/2" x 1/4" thick square tube, then fully welded.

Bumper is made from 3/16" and 1/4" plate steel.

    105lbs installed

Let's show them this revolutionary plastic bumper.
When mine was rear ended I payed for a full swingout and sliders with the money from this design..

Super clean debadged and with the Pro tails. The Storm Trooper style would look even better if it was matte white too. White is probably the only other color I would have bought after inferno.

Both of those trucks are beautiful. Love the boxy look of the bumper. Somehow boxy and sleek at the same time, which is hard to pull off.

The Inferno Tacoma was our SEMA 2017 build. Was placed in the Rhino rack booth. Truck was fully armored by us less the front bumper which was ARB because ours was not complete prior to SEMA. That truck has been in many magazines since SEMA.

Is losing the rear sensors really a big deal? There’s the back up camera, is that good enough? Just curious how folks use it. I can live without it. Maybe I’m just turning into my dad.

I think these RCI sensor holes are a Mod opportunity. Perhaps countermeasures. Water jet, oil slick, smelly gas, bubbles.

Ordered a Fab Four after I tapped my rear bumper on a pole at work. Coming in the end of the month. If you have anyone that works at summit racing they can get a hell of a discount.

It's nice to be able to retain the stock hitch with a plate bumper for legal towing purposes if youre concerned for insurance reasons but if you intend to actually use the plate bumper for its designed purpose then you should consider a bumper that relocates the receiver behind the license plate. With a bumper that relocates the receiver you gain departure angle, ground clearance and eliminate a hang up point.

I wonder if a 2nd gen bumper bolts up on a 3rd gen? They weren't all that great either but might be a cheap option for those that don't need a plate bumper. The chrome one on my 06 took a few smacks and held up fine.

Think I found some pics online from SEMA — my first thought was, it must be awesome to do what you obviously love doing for a living! Few are so fortunate.

You cray cray, the BMS is the sh*t! I find it so hard when I drive an older domestic 3/4 ton, and realize there's no BMS! It's a great feature!
