Fake grass, astroturf, whatever you want to call it. Need recommendations

    We have decided to stop fighting with keeping grass alive in a drought. We want to lay down some fake turf on part if our lawn and will mulch the rest. Anyone with experience, what kind of fake grass would you recommend for a durable And a relatively nice to walk on (soft) fake grass

    Step one is to check with your city/town/municipality/whatever. I’ve heard of many people installing it only to have the city make them tear it up because of some outdated bylaw.

    I personally went with Southwest Greens SWG80 Olive Blend found here. We've had it for over 9 years with no issues. It doesn't stand up like when we first installed it, but that's typical. :notsure:
