Note to all: if you are going to add the sticker..... Please be sure to place it in the correct factory location. Any other way looks cheesy!

I also didnt know what the ‘TRD 4x4 Off Road” decal meant, I thought it was just for 4x4 vehicles as my 97 base is a 4x4 no locker no trd packages, after finding out it means a trim I felt dumb, and didnt want to offend anyone or be seen as a poser at meets or on the trail, so took them off and put a ‘4x4’ decal on both sides now

sorry for reviving this old thread

Whatever blows your skirt up, but I think an e-locker swap would earn merit for the proper badging.

kinda like Tim McGraw wears a cowboy hat, but that don’t make him a cowboy.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
Hey it’s your truck. Whatever trips your trigger! But know when to kill the charade. When I worked at Carmax we used to see it all the time. One night, after a long day, a guy brought in a Sequoia(Limited). Pretty much immediately I knew it was a poser. But this guy persisted. Once I ran the VIIN the story changed. He had the “Limited” badging put on because he “ lived in a neighborhood full of Mercedes and BMWs.” Like I said, been a long day. I guess I was a little rough on him about his lack of self esteem.
