Does anyone have the extended/collapse length of these?

Debating between these, and the 6112/5160 Bilstein combo

I used a 1.5” Icon AAL instead of the 1.25 block included in the kit, and I’m happy with how it came out. This is the Sport Tow/Haul version, and I used 1.25 spacers to avoid cutting the rear pocket. I wish I would have taken a good before pic to compare, but this is a huge improvement over the stock setup.

lowest level setting is NO lift. it's factory height/rake. middle setting is to level the front end and lifts it a tad. Third setting has even more lift, but is to accomodate aftermarket front bumper/winch weight, so it will settle back down to level, or middle setting height. The falcons are not lift suspension on the sport and sport tow haul series. They may have a lift shock set, but i'm not sure.

i'd contact Terra Flex direct, they can probably tell you those specs if they aren't online on their site. they're nice guys they'll help you out.
if you saw the Falcon shocks side by side with Bilsteins, you'd see the difference...the falcons are stout and build quality is impressive

I've been running these for over a year and very happy with them. The rear adjustable piggybacks are great! I really hope they expand the Tacoma lineup that includes remote resies for the front.

same here- i'm sold on mine. it'll be what i buy from here out i imagine. they've been great. i find the real difference comes when you get on some rough stuff or washboard roads. HUGE improvement over stock shocks and the leveling is perfect

The middle/level setting lifts the front about level with the stock rear. Then the kit with the lift block will raise the rear about 1.25 keeping the rake?

yeah it makes sense that if you add a block in the rear at mid setting up front you will lose your level front and get your rake back.

That's great. I'd like to get 1- 1.5 inches in the front and the same in the back.

I have icon aal in the back and it gives me a small rake. Looks good too imo better than level (so overrated )

From my understanding, you gotta cut the rear shock mount to fit the fixed external reservoir? Anyone confirm or deny?

the mount hole has to be drilled out a bit to fit the larger mounting stud. the only cutting you have to do (and some have said they didn't have to) is to the rear upper mount if you are running the falcon sport "tow-haul" adjustable rear shocks, and it's trimmed to accomodate the adjustment switch on the top of the shock. but it looks so easy anyone with a grinder could do it.

Before I bought mine I thought the same thing so I asked Teraflex. The front shocks are different on the level kit and the lift kit. Keeping you level after the lift. So technically all four shocks are different. The rear shocks are longer on the lift kit too.

I would highly recommend 6112's. You get a really capable shock for a really good price. The piston in the 6112 is the same size as the whole shock from falcon

I've been debating on both as well. Do you have experience with both?

I dont have any experience with the Falcons but I can say that you wont find a better bang for you buck option for a 2.5in shock than the 6112's in my experience. I was considering a few other option but eventually decided that the 6112 didnt lack anything that I was going to miss from going with a King or Radflo ect besides the adjustable collar.

+1 for the 6112’s! Comparing them to my buddies setups the cost performance ratio on them is top notch.
