Just got my new 265/75/16 Falken at3w’s on. They seemed to look smaller than my ko2’s. Measured them and they are only 30.75 inches tall. My understanding is that this is almost an inch smaller than they should be. Anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have real world measurements of this tire in 285/75/16?

check the manufacturer websites. The only 265/75/16 that actually measures 32" is the Cooper St Maxx, which is why I bought them. But I now also have a set of 265/70/17 Falkens which come in at 31.9". I was very OCD when shopping for my tires lol. Next set will probably be a 33 but will only measure around 32.6

Their website claims 31.7. That’s why I’m wondering if they all run smaller. If that’s the case I may be able to clear them in a 285.

Are you measuring them while mounted and weight of the vehicle is on the tire? If so you can't base them on that.

    Just tossing this out there...

Did you get P rated or LT rated?

There's usually a sizeable difference in tread depth. That could account for the difference.

Yes I was measuring them on the vehicle. Must be the difference.
