Hey guys. Read through most of the main threads but liking for a little more first hand advice. Live in the PNW so have to deal with rain more often than not. I’m on the fence to replace my stock tires with either the Falken ATW or Cooper AT3 in either AS4 or LT. Planning on off roading a bit with more forest trails than rock but majority of my driving will be highway. I live close to Mt Hood but other than a couple times a year a don’t expect to do heavy snow driving, and I already have chains.

Planning for 265/75/16. I’m leaning towards the AS4s but anyone else have experience in the PNW with these tires? If you have any other recommendations for tires then I’m up for those as well.

I’m across the mountains from you so we see a lot more snow. I had the old cooper AT3 on my 94 F250 and they were excellent in pretty much everything. It’s very similar tread pattern so I can only assume the new ones are slightly better.

At the same time I had some Yokohama GO5 ATs on my FJ Cruiser and they pretty much sucked in the snow and ice. And that should have been a better 4wd system.

On my Tacoma I have the Cooper M+S as a winter tire but I kinda wish I would have just gone with the AT3 so I could run it year round.
