I'm looking at tires now myself. Put some Nitto Trail Grapplers on my GF's jeep and they are awesome. Did great on the beach, good on highway, did an off road course, and it did great. Tire manufacturers also make tire that measure different actual size vs the metric.

I was also looking at the falken wildpeak MT

I was in this predicament not too long ago. I went with wildpeaks because they have the nicest sidewall of any tire by far. They're also a bit cheaper, haven't really heard bad things about them either. KO2s on the other hand were more $$, not as cool looking IMO, and everytime I hear about someone busting a tire, it's always some BFG KO/Ko2

I didn't really need an AT for the grip, just to add some ground clearance so I didn't really look at which "performs" better

This is true, but if you're a member of the "White Letter Mafia", KO2s are high on the list. If you aren't a fan of the white letters....there are better tires out there. ;)

On my second set of Falken’s. Great tire all around ,no complaints ! I got well over 50k miles on the first set and still had enough tread to get another summer out of them but since I pull a travel trailer I opted for new ones .

I think we’re safe for several years. They are planning for build a new plant down south. Once that happens the riots may commence lol

Wildpeaks hands down for me. I've had two sets and they have been fantastic. Better offroad than I expected, quiet, comfy, great in rain/snow, and very affordable. KO2's are fine but I couldn't find a single reason to get them over the Wildpeaks.

I need you all to love the KO2s as much as I do… my self esteem depends on it.
Seriously though OP, only those who ran both can credibly tell you which they prefer and why. These questions always end with the majority of replies lacking actual first hand experience, and usually touting whatever is mounted on their wheels.

I mean so far I've read either 1) people who had both and praising their current wildpeaks 2) people praising their wildpeaks and 3) someone who had/has Ko2s and not liking them

Not that I can speak to either tire, other than the wildpeaks looking so much cooler
