    Could I get away with 265/75/16 on scs f5 with stock suspension on a 2012 SR5? F5s are 4.5bs and 0 offset.

    Thanks!

Yep, very similar to what I ran on my 2nd gen. I then put billes set at 1.75 and still didn’t have any rubbing.

Just pulled the trigger on Falken Wildpeak A/T 3 Tires, 265/75/16. Love them so far. 20190530-_DSC8294.jpg20190530-_DSC8295.jpg20190530-_DSC8297.jpg20190530-_DSC8299.jpg

I was just looking at these. Most likely they will replace the stockers when they have worn. Good looking tire and they get great reviews.

Trying to buy set a of WPs torn between LT and P rated.
I commute at least 70 miles round trip. Also i fill my truck bed with
Wood 10 times a year on some 4x4 roads. Never had an issue before with weaker tires so Imdefinitely leaning towards the P rated to save on MPG
    265/75/r16 stock suspension 2011
    Any input greatly appreciated

I lost about 2 mpg on the 265/75/16 wildpeaks SL rated on stock OR wheels but they feel pretty solid compared to my oem Goodyear’s .
Having a nagging balancing issue, not as bad as some have reported but annoying none the less. Tire shop ordered a new tire to be installed this weekend so hopefully that cures my problem.

255 on a 9 inch tire is a bad idea.

Had my Wildpeaks installed today and couldn't be happier. Installation went well and no vibrations so far. Technician stated he had no issues balancing them which was a bit of a concern after reading the threads. I went with the 265/75/R16 as I was not looking to deal with any potential rubbing which would require me to modify the wheels wells or cmc etc. I installed 5100's on all corners OME 2887 and Icon 1.5 progressive so there is a bit more gap than stock but acceptable to me.

@horntac1 im looking to do this exact set up. Mind sending me the specs? How much lift did you go for, did you replace all the leafs with the icon package and 887 coil overs?

@wcartee I was looking to get 2 inches of lift as I didn't want to mess with UCAs or any other potential issues or upgrades once you approach the 2.5 and above mark. I also wanted to level out the truck.

I ordered the Bilstein 5100 kit from Headstrong Offroad. I selected the 2887 coils and added the Icon 1.5 progressive aal. Headstrong did the strut assembly. I removed the overload spring as I was looking to reduce/eliminate the rake. I ended up with 2 inches of lift up front and 1.5 in the back. I installed the kit 3 weeks ago and from what I've read there will be some settling but none so far. I'm really happy with the amount of lift I got as its exactly as advertised. I say that as the consensus is the advertised numbers are not a guarantee for various reasons and you may end up with less. Hope this helps!

Does anyone have any idea what it’ll cost to ship tires? I sold my Taco and am about to put my new Wildpeaks I ordered (and never mounted) and NIB Rays up on the BST thread. Any suggestions as to who would be cheapest to ship?

I can remember a guy that used to sell seats and no kidding used Greyhound busses as a way to ship them. Apparently they do ship large items for low prices but the recipient would have to be willing to travel to a terminal, might be worth a look and good luck brother.

Thank you, brother. I have mixed feelings but, honestly and sadly, I got a bad truck. I still might consider a Taco in the future but I’m waiting to make sure. Even so I’d buy a shirt bed just because they are easier to maneuver in the woods and to park. I just took my pro grille off to put it up for sale on the BST thread and drove the truck for the first time in months (I stopped driving it months ago). I was bummed that I looked so long for exactly what I wanted only to have to sell it but I actually got within 3k of what I paid for it by a dealer and drove it for 31 months.

Got a set of Wildpeak's in 265/70/17 with while getting the new wheels mounted and lift kit installed. I had doubts about it as I hadn't done any research but the shop recommended them. I'm very happy with them. I can't tell a difference in road noise from the stock Wrangler's. Can't wait to put them to the test on the trails.

Geez-everybody's missing the most important question.
How well do these tires hold on to the ArmorAll?
