Looking for something that looks and drives well, minimal road noise and handles the rain. Don't have to worry about snow. This is a daily driver with minimal off-road and towing use.

    Are the Wildpeaks overkill? 2022 SR5 v6

For a daily driver on the road yes. If you’re purely going for looks get whatever you like.

I mean....trying to find the right balance. Driving quality is #1 but want it to look nice too. Certainly open to suggestions.

Anything with siping and rain in mind will do fine. Something like a Michelin MS2 won’t look as cool as an AT.

I just switched my 2016 Offroad to the new Michelin defender LTX M/S 2
Super quiet , smooth on road - low or high speed, better gas milage, and so far are fine on the beach in loose sand.
Just my two cents. I thought I wanted aggressive too, bit I am very happy.

    I believe at3 replaced with at4.
Regardless, stick to lighter tires. Expect 2 mpg loss

Wildpeaks are great - they are quiet for an AT - but for FL I'd go with the michelin defenfers m/s 2
That is the best all round tire. Unbeatable on the road.

These are the best tires hands down if any suv/truck owner would buy tires using only their brain. In other words, the smartest decision.

I am dumb so I went Mickey Thompson at and I do ZERO off road…

Maybe someday I will grow up and buy those. Never late I guess haha

Man, it seems this shouldn't be a tough decision but it sure is.....

Seems the defender ltx m/s2 is the clear favorite, they just look so boring. Even the Ltx A/T2 look better but those don't seem to get mentioned much.

I also came across the Falken Rubitrek which look great and seem to be a bit better on the road than the Wildpeaks.

Someone will make a killing when they can figure out how to make a road tire look like an AT one

Good quality, can go off-roading while still quiet on the road, look amazing.

I have the AT3's on my 2021, Great tire so far.
I'm on my 4th set of Michelin Defenders on my 1999, I agree with others, best tire I have ever owned. They are great highway tires, good in snow, rain and work in the sand.

I agree the AT look better.

I switched to rubitrek. Cheaper and looks almost the same. Specs are close to WPs

I got a sticker and some cool valve stem caps...
+3 on the Rubitrek... it's an at3w with a different tread pattern. With coupons I paid $156 each.

Watch the first half or so... compares Rubitrek and At4w

I replace worn AT3's in July with them. These were balanced well. Had a few long trips where speed was around 80 mph. No vibrations
We are in a raining season and no complains as far as traction on wet. So far I dint see much of the difference between RT and WP.

I am. I find the road manners are great. And they look good on it too.

Put a set on my wife's Forester and then a set on my 2021 Tacoma.

I'll rebuy when the time comes.

Absolutely loved my Wildpeak AT3s... might grab the new AT4s, right now I've got the MT Bajas.
