I don’t have these tires, they weren’t available yet when I bought what I did, but I do have 265/75r16. I chose to get 5 tires because I’ve been told it’s important for the spare tire to have the same diameter as the wheel on the other side if it is a drive wheel. Meaning if you were to put a smaller tire as the spare and need to use it, it would need to go up front, and you would be limited to 2wd. This would mean if a rear tire went flat you would first swap the spare with the for a good front wheel and then swap that front with the flat rear. Then you would have to limit your use to 2wd, which could be a problem if you were way off road somewhere.

Currently running 32 psi. Tires are new so can't tell you if it's affecting tire wear. Might try 35 psi.

Ran 35 at the beginning for a about 2kmiles I could see the outside of the tires weren’t really wearing, then I dropped to 32 it’s better riding and it seems to be wearing a bit better

I agree regarding having all the tires be the same height. I will be going to with the stock size, so I can still use the spare. I am thinking the tread will last 20% longer since 1 of 5 is always the spare, thus not impacting the tread. As long as the spare is rotated through and each tire spends its time as the spare.

You can fit larger than stock in the spare tire well if that’s a concern. 32” fits no problem, and 33” fits with just minor massaging.

    Done with Falkens.
I’ve owned them before on another vehicle and they were horrible. Tried them again because of the treadwear warranty.
****Warranty is not followed when Falken was contacted. Proof of rotations, alignments, and balances were provided. Falken claimed they “don’t warranty wear”.****
Tires had 22,000 miles of paved road on them and wear was measured at 5/32nds.
Warranty states 55,000 miles but Falken won’t cover them until they are below 2/32nds and only credit for another set of Falken tires.
    .....4/32nds is replacement on a truck tire.....DUH
Discount/America’s Tire gave me a credit to buy Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs E rated.

It should be less than $100/tire if you use same deal as mine? Unless you have different size wheels.

I put 265/75/16 sl wildpeaks on my truck about 2 weeks ago. no rubbing with factory front flaps. the tire shop had them @ 35psi cold. that was way high - It handled really bad on the highway. it really wanted to follow the wear ruts & was unstable on lane changes. right now I'm running 30psi & I think that's still too high. after all this is a bigger tire with more surface area (inches ) so theoretically you should be optimum at a lower pressure than the 30 psi as stated on the placard.

“As stated on the placard” referring to a different set of tires that came on the truck???

Mine are at 36 psi and they ride great.

Everyone’s situation will vary. There is no magic psi.
