Anyone experience this? Had mine for about a month now, and today was the first time I went off-roading. Nothing crazy, just mild trails. Does warranty cover this?

Still holding air? Just the bulge? I think it should be covered.

    Screwed but not screwed.
My wife noticed this on the left rear when walking back towards the truck in a parking lot a couple of months ago.

Crappy sidewalls. Go BFG, they have 3 ply sidewalls.

Are you sure...check again...They have a crappy 2 ply sidewall which is fine if you don’t off-road.

It’s been about 6 weeks with them on. Great ride, great grip, and cheap! I know a 4Runner running them too, and he wheels hard. I’m coming from two sets of BFG K02s in a row, and these have WAY more grip in the wet.

Question about the size, and powerloss/mpg. My 2017 SR 4x4 came with the dynapro hts. I'm leaning hard toward the falkens due to their reported all around performance, and this size because I admit it does look great on the truck. In an effort to mitigate the downsides of the heavier tire and larger diameter, I ordered new wheels (SCS F5s) which are much lighter than my stock steelies.

    Stock tire: 32lbs
    Stock rim (steel): 32lbs
    Total: 64lbs

    Falkens: 44lbs
    SCS F5: 19lbs
Total: 63lbs - lighter, but the tire weight is further from the rotational axis so still not totally offset by the major weight reduction in rims, I assume.

Does anyone have insight as to how much of the powerloss/mpg-decrease is due to diameter, and how much due to weight?

It says the SL’s are 4 ply so that’s probably 2 plys and 2 breakers so you are probably right. I’ve seen some of the wildpeak carcasses here in the plant. Not having the spec sheet I can’t tell you what is what so the ones I’ve seen must of been XL or C. I’m not real familiar with them. I work in the Moto department and majority of them have 3 ply sidewalls. So I guess I just assumed all those carcasses had atleast a 3 ply construction. Then again, the construction is different.

Edit: just seen your attachment. If that’s the case for the standard construction that 3rd ply should be considered part of the sidewall as it will wrap over the apex. Unless it’s a floater. I’m gonna have to talk to a builder down there and see if I can see a carcass
