I'm a little uneducated with tires. I am planning on going with the Falkens, but wanted to know the difference between these two:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C8Z7NJ...olid=3MNTEAEIDTXRR&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it (123S) and

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C53COJ...olid=3MNTEAEIDTXRR&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it (116T) besides the obvious price. Not sure what those identifiers mean relative to the tire itself, everything else I can tell remains identical. Also, what would the consensus recommendation be?

Weight, Load, and speed rating, if you scroll down it shows a comparison on Amazons site.

I didn't read the whole thread yet so maybe this was addressed, but the difference between 265/70/16 and 265/75/16 is 3.3% so it depends on your speed.

At 70 mph on the speedometer you'd actually be going 72.3 mph. If you have a habit of going just 10 mph over the speed limit thinking you be safe well 85 mph on the speedometer is actually 87.8 mph. Maybe not enough to matter but now you are about 13 mph over the speed limit.

Are you running into any rubbing issues with the Ray10's? Assuming you're on the stock suspension?

A little in the front which required the Mud flaps to be removed. Sometimes, also, there's a slight rubbing sound that comes when the nose is facing down on a high incline, but nothing crazy for daily driving. I'm def going to get this thing lifted soon though.

Hmm I don't plan on lifting for a while, maybe I'll just go with 265/70r16's for now then? Have you regretted not going down in size?

Absolutely not, for 98% of the driving I do, no problems with any rubbing once those front mud flaps were taken off. In the extremely rare instance that the truck is facing down in a steep incline, it'll barely rub and go away once the incline levels out. I'm very happy with the Falken 265/75/16s, couldn't ask for a better tire. My plans are since the back tires fit perfectly, I'll maybe do a leveling kit to add a few inches in the front till I save up and get better shocks. Hope that helps!

Stock rims and stock suspension... for now. Don’t want to added stress of a lift just want to level it out on 5100’s

Got mine on this weekend! They do rub a tab bit on my husky mud guards, going to order some Rokblokz and see if that clears it up.

I have the same color truck and am drooling over the picture. Was the suspension stock when this was taken? Any rubbing with the setup?

You won't rub with 265/75r16 no lift

Is that true regardless of offset? I was curious about this particular wheel and tire setup.

Stock offroad wheels are 16x7 +25 offset wrapped with 32" won't rub.
I have 16x8 0 offset I still didn't rub but I was pushing it already.

If you are thinking to go -5 to -10 16x8 or 17x8- 17x8.5 you might need to trim the plastic lower fenders...

Ok. Thanks! Just realized you were still running the OEM Wranglers in that pic. Wow! What a difference the change in offset made. Has me thinking I'm going to get wheels before tires. Its occurring to me I'm more interested in a slightly wider stance than having more aggressive tires. I don't think I'd go with anymore than your 0 offset though. That looks perfect IMO.

Just ordered a set of these in 265/75r16 SL. Question, is it necessary to have these Road Force Balanced? I was quoted 140$ for them to be mounted and Road Force Balanced. Another shop told me it is unnecessary to do that with new tires and non damaged rims. What do you guys think?
