One of my concerns was the balancing with these. But it seems like many ATs have some problems once in a while. I got 5 and they balanced (haven’t put the spare on but I went to a reputable shop and they said no issues). Some luck I think. Hope it gets resolved soon for you.

Thanks, me too. I'm pretty pissed they've had to take my brand new wheels and hook them up to a road force machine 3 times already. The arbor they're using has marred up the finish a little around the lug nuts, fortunately it's barely noticeable. Plus there is ton of residual sticky tape from all the balance weights they've removed which is really bugging me. I don't think removing it will effect the balance but after the luck I've had, I don't want to take any chances.

It really is hit or miss with any AT tire it seems, you'll fixed mixed experiences with most all tires. When I got my Wildpeaks (SL load) mounted and balanced, everything went perfectly the first time without a hitch. I've seen the complete opposite from some members though, going through nearly 10 tires.

After filling up a new tank and watching the mpg, it seems it dropped MAYBE 1 mpg at most, and this is mostly city driving. Experience differs obviously.

I didn’t notice much a performance loss in mpg. My drive is country roads and a little across town. Maybe 1-2 mpg?

I’ve been paying pretty close attention to all the tire threads trying to figure out what I wanted to go with and it seems the SLs are the ones with most of the balancing issues. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with LTs report issues.

My SLs are perfect. It's been about 2 weeks, I've already put a few hundred miles of dirt road driving on them, and they are awesome on gravel, mud, and rock!
No vibrations, smooth on the highway. Running them at about 37 psi currently. My MPGs haven't really changed since installing them.

I love these tires. Had them on the '18 Sport and having them put on the '19 OR today.

Just wanted to update you guys on my debacle with DT and the tires, in the end they took care of me. I hate that it took 6 trips though. On trip #5 to replace the defective tire they played nascar pit crew and badly scratched 2 of the 4 wheels, grr.

After replacing the 1 defective tire the truck drives a lot smoother. I'm also seeing MPG's (uncorrected) in the 20-21 mpg range, so that's a lot better than I was initially seeing. I'm very happy with these tires and hope they can go the distance. We're heading to Moab July 4th for a 4x4 and MTB trip. We hope to get lots of miles in the dirt/sand/rocks both in the truck and on our bikes.

Just put some on today. Only have 3 miles on them. I read so much about tires this time around because I refused to pay for BFGs. It was up to these or Toyo Open Country AT2. Hope I made the right decision :fingerscrossed:

Truck looks great, gotta give me some specifics on that lift. I eventually want to lift but not dramatically and yours looks like a nice height.

Thanks. It’s nothing special. 2” in front from a 1” spacer (ohhh the horror!!). No rear block.

    A few more...

plasti dip emblems, TRD off road wheels, pro clips cell phone mount. 20 percent tint.
So i just purchased a set of 265 70 16 wild peaks and method NV wheels. Will be on my truck in 3 to 5 days. What im asking is there a huge difference in bulk 70 vs 75? Im trying to keep my truck stock and dont want to lift at all. Also want to keep the weight down. I want the tires to look alot more aggressive then the stock trd ones from the off road wheels. This is the tire i currently have on but will be selling these since im going with the method NV and wild peaks.

Ok, after reading all the positive reviews on these tires, I decided to make the plunge. The price was hard to pass up too. They were $133.00 a tire for the 265/75/16 at the 4 Wheel Parts Truck and Jeep Fest and that seemed pretty reasonable. I had been a die hard BF Goodrich KO/KO2 fan, but those tires are getting pretty pricey.

My previous truck (a Ranger) had 33x12.5 and 33x10.5 size tires. Yep, two sets because I put over 200k miles on that Ranger. I loved those tires. They worked great in the Mojave desert and on mountain trails. The wider set did handle better. With the wider set I would take turns so hard, I would 3 wheel due to the limit straps and you still would not hear the tires squeal. I'm hoping these Wildpeaks perform as good or better. I'm a little worried about them being puncture resistant because they are only 4 ply, but we'll see how they do.

Anyway, here's the before and after pictures on a TRD Off-Road which stock rims. I had them installed with the raised letters out. I'm not sure if I'm liking it that way. Maybe it will grow on me.
