I think mine was fairly accurate before but with this size I have passed multiple radars at up to 60 and it was spot on. Nice surprise.

But then again, I'm getting these numbers off the instrument panel which I think is off due to the larger diameter tires. Use a GPS and you'll see that you're going faster (and farther) than what your Speedometer is telling you. It's by a percentage. I noticed about 2 MPH more at around 70 to 72 MPH on the dash. So, maybe the dramatic fuel drop is in my head? I'm hoping.

By the numbers on tire it looks like you have the E-rated 265/75/16 correct? I wonder if the C-rated tire is having all the issues were as the E is okay.

These are the E rated yes, I’ve never really had any problems with them before. I had initially thought that they were getting weird vibrations but it turned out the balancing weights had been knocked off that wheel. I think the wildpeak only comes in an E or a SL rated tire though, but I’m sure the lower rating would be fine

Sorry I meant SL not C. Maybe I will try the E-rated. I have the SL's & can't stand them.

Vibration since day one. I can get them to balance perfect yet road force numbers are high as to hint that they are out of round. This is after getting 4 replaced due to out of round. My current set also are wearing fast. Might get 30-35K out of them before needing replacement. Not impressed at all.

I personally think the SLs are too light of a tire for a truck, but most people seem to have no issues. I'd maybe try to find a C or D rated all-terrain if you're only on pavement

So I was averaging 17-18 mpg and now I am at 16-17 mpg. I also added a tonneau cover which should improve mpg so my mpg lost might be more than just 1-2 mpg.

Went from stock 265/70R16 to 265/75R16. I do have a Pro which has a 1" lift than others.

Anyone else with SL have them cracking and looking like they're coming apart. Have 9500 miles, rotated at 2k,6k and wearing evenly as far as tread depth is concerned. But going by my rate of wear these would be dead at 27k miles at 2/32. They're at 9/10/32 now. Pressures are good, no vibes just look like they're dry rotting bad. Never aired them down or ran with low or high pressure. Don't use tire cleaner. It's even starting in the sidewall. All the tires are doing it, the first photo and the second were taken about 10 days apart. The cracking is actually starting to go around the whole tire. I'm more afraid of them failing then the wear rate, even though seems excessive for the driving I do. And they'll only pro rate in tread depth. I put these on in September last year. Don't really want to spend 400 bucks for new tires after pro rate. Just seems like a bad tire mold issue.

I'm thinking about putting these exact tires on my Sr5. Have you loved them so far? Debating between 265/75r16 and 265/70r16.

Same as mine both with the tires and with falkens shitty warranty. Like pulling teeth getting them to warranty faulty tires. Then when they do weeks later, you have to use it towards more falkens. I went the E rated this time and are much better. The SL rated ones have a soft compound like a snow tire, maybe why they fall apart.
