Can go wrong either way, price on the Falkens did it for me.

I’ve also got the same Falkens on my wife’s 4runner (sorry no pic) stock size and they’re awesome, rides much better.

Same setup I’m running along with the 1/2 shim on driver side rear. My fiberglass cap really made the lean more pronounced.

Update: These babies eat bumps for breakfast. I took a offramp/onramp this week that I drive on the way back from band practice and the truck handled much better. I don't get the side-to-side "wobble" that I used to get with the stock Firestones. I'm loving these things.

I read once that Toyo / Falken are manufactured in the same facility in Japan. Apparently, they are the "roundest" and truest tire out there.

    Thoughts?

5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
Not sure about the relationship. My buddies at tire shops praise toyos constantly. Easiest to balance by far. Way better than bfg's. By the way, they were the top BFG retailer in the region... Says a lot about how good the toyos were.

My Falkens have ‘made in Thailand’ on the tires.

265/75/16, OME 2" HD lift. No rubbing. Great on hi-way and in rain. I have not encountered snow yet. Only mild off-roading so far and tires were excellent.IMG_2401.jpg IMG_2400.jpg

    Hello.

Anyone had Wild Peaks 265/75 R16 for more than a year or so? Interested in tread longevity under normal driving. Being reading some negative reviews on KO2s and kind of leaning towards Wild Peaks.
    Thanks

Any downside to going with the SL vs the E load? I don't do any serious offloading, but want the tire to be able to handle some towing and hauling. Is the SL at least on par with the stock wrangler?

I have SL tires on my truck. I tow, offroad, and my truck always has more than 600# in the bed. I use my truck for work so it's always loaded with tools and parts. E load is too much tire for a Tacoma.
No issues and no change to my mpg from the stock gy's. The falkens are far superior offroad and in the wet to the stock tires. In the snow and ice they are fine, they love digging into snow lol.

I plasti-dipped mine the week I bought it, Nearly 2 years later still good, no peeling or chipping, and I drive gravel roads every day.

Drove around in 2 feet of snow last week during a storm. I was the first person to drive on most of the roads. Never lost traction and slammed through some 4ft+ snow banks created by the plows. Lots of fun.
    IMG_0529.jpg
Made it up my steep driveway no problem in 4hi, including smashing through the massive snow bank at the bottom.
The driveway only had a bout a foot of snow on it since it had been plowed once earlier in the day.

That 3D canyon sipe tread does a great job.

Unfortunately, I dont want to do black there either (although it is better than chrome).

I use my truck for work as well and always load stuff in the back. Are you still running stock suspension in the rear with the constant 600# you carry?
If not, what are you running and how’s the ride?

I've been running them on my 2017 TRD OR Long Bed since last spring. No issues! Love the aggressive look, yet still function well as a daily driver. Truck 1.jpg

Just under a year here. No issues and road noise is comparable to the stock tires.
