Mine had 29k and 2 were at 4/32. Discount tire did the prorated warranty on the two. Other two were 5-6/32 and I didn't feel like waiting for them to wear more so got a new set. Not sure why they wear fast for some but probably driving style has a lot to do with it and rotating. I'm going to do these at 3000 for the first few at least. I like them enough so got wildpeaks again.

I put mine in January 2020 and so far they are on the target to meet falken advertised mileage. I'm just over 40k.
I don't think 35 psi is appropriate pressure.

i could drop the pressure but still have two at 3/32" I know tire pressure can be a factor but in this case i'm not sure it would make a difference. I'll see what my local shop says where i bought the tires

SL tires at 40K with about 2 years use highway and on high desert (rocky) off road trips.

About 6/32 left and replacing with a new set now due to snow performance starting to drop off at this point.

I’m happy with them at $190/tire.

There's a lot of weight on the word "should." :cookiemonster:

A surefire way to know is to check shoulder wear. If the fronts are showing more rounded edges than the rears, you know they haven't been rotated.

Not that they aren't. The last time I went to the dealer, I put a little finger smudge on the driver's front wheel, and sure enough, that same smudge was on the passenger rear when I picked it up. So it is possible to get an honest service department, and maybe yours are just wearing prematurely. 1/16" isn't the hugest difference between tires, to be honest.

Falken wild peaks are great tires but they have short lifespan .

mine didnt make it over 30k. I wouldnt be surprised if my alignment shortened it. My off road is 29 psi though. you may be a little over inflated and that'll shorten tread life as well

One thing to keep in mind is that tires that are intended to have better winter performance usually have a softer rubber compound that helps in snow and ice. I'll happily sacrifice some mileage for better snow/ice performance.

What is the tread depth at the edges?

I have E rated Wildpeaks, I am at 50k miles and at 6/32's. Yours seems to be wearing stupid fast.

I'm running E rated 285/75/16 and I'm at 65k miles with 8/32 left. I'm at this point now where I'm like...do I replace them to replace them? They do have a TON of highway driving on them. Run them anywhere between 32lbs and 37lbs depending on the weather fluctuation.

I have the SL version and mine are at 23k with 6/32” left. Premature wear as well.

A bit disappointed, I will prob only get 27-30k out of them. I run about 35 PSI too.

I got the SL for the weight rating. I do mainly city driving stop and go because I live so close to work (7 miles with about 10 traffic lights/stop signs). My SL are at 23k and only 6/32", which sort of sucks. I would likely replace sooner that the minimum 2/32". Maybe 200 off-road miles so not a ton.

The E rated tires are 9 pounds heavier than the SL. Do you notice the weight difference in either driving, breaking or gas mileage?

If you are not watching the dealer rotate the tires, I would mark 1, 2, 3, 4 with a sharpie on the inside of the tires and see where each one ends up after the paperwork says tires were rotated.

I've had wildpeaks on my truck since 15k and I'm now at 96k. I honestly can't answer the weight difference piece. Plus I'm on full c4 steel bumpers with sliders. I'm a heavy boy to begin with. I do manage to keep my mpg between 18-20 with a lot of highway driving. Just gotta keep them aired up or you will notice a change.
