My OCD accepted it rather quickly... but I went with 265/70R17 so off by a little more... but for the service I got out of them I can certainly live with it.

Im jealous. I should have put 265/70R17 since I'm going to be off anyway. The off speedometer is the only thing stopping me from getting that size before.

I had done a lift of @2.5-2.75 inches all around - so that size was just enough to visually look better and yet not require any chopping.

I agree. That will look better. But a lot of people here does not have rubbing issue with 265/70R17 with no lift and cutting. I guess it also depends on your rim offset

I wouldn't think at that size there would be any rubbing. I stayed with the stock TRD Sport rims.

probably you have the heavy af e rated. SL is the correct way to go. The reason k02 balances is because it’s only c rated so lighter but technically more plys than the SL falken.

all that said I have the SL on my 2020, legit zero issues at all with balance

If a tire is out of round (dropped bead or curing issue) it will shake from day one. That’s a scrap tire. A year later they either got cupped from lack of rotations, or some other type of uneven wear cause by an issue. Or a wheel weight came off and it’s out of balance. If not the vibration is caused by some other component/issue

Always took it for rotations/alignment. It happened mostly yesterday after I left discount. Went to another place n they say its the tires after tryin to rotate again. Also the lug nuts provided from discount aren't the ones that should be on my truck. Now I'm searching for another tire that are the same specs as Wildpeaks :frusty:
Need my truck to be good ASAP

Sounds like you got a lot more going on than the tires. Of course they will probably say it’s the tires, just to sell you another set

Honestly I hope its just the tires. Got the warranty so if anything I can pay the difference on a new set. If not then at least I can rule that out. Sucks being a broke college kid

I had 265/75r16 and never had a problem I got a brigstone dueler at and I hate them. The winter traction is the worst. I love going out in snow storms and play but I was scared to got drive to work. I can’t wait to get back to the falkens I loved mine.

I have the falkens on my 14 crosstrek. great on dry road and in snow. But I still new tires on my 15 tacoma. Staying stock size 265/65r17, worried about
number of problems on this thread so I might go with the new toyo atiii

I have the same size. It screwed up my speedometer. Mine is now 2km/slower than the actual. Their rev/mile spec is far off compare with other brands including the stock tires. So disappointed with this tires

Not impressed with my wildpeaks. I have 4 purchased new in nov 2019. My father also has 4 purchased new in feb 2020. All 8 have severe dryrot around the rims. I have seen 8 year old tires that do not look like this. I have been through the ringer trying to get these tires warrantied. I should not be having this issuse at all. I have spoken on the phone and numerous emails. Falken sent me to a certified dealer. And of course i had to drive 1 hour just to get there. Basicaly what im being told is falken wants me to pay 25 percent of each tire. And they will warranty them. Im not giving them a dime of my money. The tires on my fathers truck arent even a year old. Just save your money. Buy a better more expensive tires. These realy are “cheap” tires. Im very dissapointed with falken tire alltogether. Sorry for the long post. I hope this helps other people decide. I did read alot of great reviews. But my own experience with them has been not so good

I also noticed that all 8 of the wildpeaks i have are made in thailand. While standing in the tire center i noticed two stacks of wildpeaks. All brand new. 4 are made in japan. An the other 4 are made in usa. So idk if the 8 i purchased being from thailand had anything to do with it. But either way not impressed
