yea i was kinda pissed when i found out my sups scheduled me to work sunday morning but either way you can head up friday or saturday and camp if possible. ill be staying friday night through saturday

 

That sucks i was looking forward to getting a closer look at your truck. And getting to steal some of your knowledge over a couple of beers. But atleast i can still see it in action.

 

Dont worry man, there will be plenty of knowledge and beer to go around. And you are 4X4 so you can come up Rice Peak with me

 

Haha i know there will be a wealth of knowledge from you guys! Im 4x4in but still riding stock height. No lift yet.... unfortunately! Damn wedding plans taking all my truck money. Do i need a lift to go for rice peak?

 

We just took a stock high truck, with running boards, to the top of Rice Peak. You will be fine. The only trail damage was a loosing the front driver side mudflap. Cookie crumbs lost on the trail, no biggie.

 

See, as Harelssen says, so problem at all.

 

I already took off my mudflaps so no problem. And i have takin my truck up worse terrain than that. So im down for rice peak. Lets do this!

 

You still get some face time with my sexy beast of a truck im sure youll get plenty of knowledge as well from everybody

There are lots of loose rocks on the trail. If you are in 2wd, expect to spin your wheels and expect some tire chunking. But you should be fine when in 4H. IMO, be sure to air down your tires a little before you get on the trail.

I got the 2nd off work so unless something comes up lasr min again im in for the 2nd-4th. Its gonna be cold as shit so... 1- are fires allowed on the mountain right now? 2- does anyone have a fire permit? And 3- is anyone bringing firewood with?

 

I bring wood, I am pretty sure that fires are permitted. I know they lifted the ban earlier this year so unless they set it again we should be fine.
