Picked up my new tires today. I won't run them on my truck until I wear down my old ones a little more.

Confirmed a couple of days ago: the gas station, as well as all facilities at the Hite Marina, are closed. According to the ranger at Hans Flat, the Marina is in the process of transferring ownership.

Thanks for the updates. I have a trip to Montana in July. Going to make it a point to stop by these places on way back south.

As always, for hormonal purposes only. 51 seconds negotiating a Flint Trail switchback. Per the NPS: "High Clearance, 4WD, loose rocks, deep ruts, lockers advised." Yeah, the stitch line is annoying.

Nice video, but I hope that wasn't a drone shooting it.
I just came out on the Flint Trail yesterday. They cleaned it up last week and made it too easy in my opinion. Still fun, and we will see what monsoon season does to it this year.

Thanks for the updates. We have our routes pretty set now. Should give us a good tour of the park, plus camping at the hiking spots.
How it is for us in September will be dependent on Monsoon season.

Alright, we survived the booking process online.

For anyone thinking about reserving in the future, you have to be on top of this process! We all got on a group call at 7 am, and I refreshed the page right at 7 am (when permits open), and within 6 minutes our original itinerary was not available any longer. At least one of the sites I picked had already been snagged. In 6 minutes.

Thankfully we were able to figure it out.

For Group 1 the following campsites have been reserved:

    Night 2 - Saturday - The Wall
    Night 3 - Sunday - Doll House 2
    Night 4 - Monday - Golden Stairs
    Night 5 - Tuesday - Maze Overlook 2
    Night 6 - Wednesday - Ekker Butte
    Night 7 - Thursday - Millard Canyon
Night 8 - Friday - Flint Seep (For the entire group)

Alan @TailHook is setting up a route now so we can hammer out additional details.

    Excited!

    Night 3 - Sun - Doll House 3
    Night 4 - Mon - Teapot Rock
    Night 5 - Tue - Ekker Butte
    Night 6 - Wed - Panorama Point
    Night 7 - Thu - Maze Overlook 2
    Night 8 - Fri - Flint Seep (w/ G1)

    :bananadance:

Going to be some redundancy to our routes, but at least we'll get the grand tour!

For those of you staying at The Wall CG, here's what your view will look like. FYI The Wall has little to no protection from the elements.

Sweet pics. Yea, it was crazy getting the reservations in the way we wanted to. But, it worked out in the end.
We'll be in the park for 7nights

My refrigerator died this weekend while out camping, now I'm on the hunt for a replacement.
    Any recommendations?

The Snowmaster is a great choice.

I went with an ARB Zero myself.
