    Honestly, it's unclear. I don't think it's state land. I think it's just one of those little spots that the mostly only locals know about, like a-pit and b-pit in Ocala near Hardrock. I don't think it's posted or anything, but if it is, then we'll have to decide what to do from there.

    Destroying state land? WTF?!? Were you out there strip-mining? Man, they are getting :der: with that shit.

    You know that play area right after the big washout? I can't remember the trail number. I climbed one of the embankments and fwc came running out of the woods. He was on foot hiding catching people. Lol

    Yeah, I remember what happened, I just hadn't heard what they cited you for other than it was a lot bigger fine than we normally see. :facepalm:Seriously, the Off-road community in FL really needs a lobbying group to reign in whatever jackass(es) in the FWC and/or Forestry Service that has a hate-on for us. They really need to lighten up. I can see if folks were out there knocking over trees, or blazing their own trails through the middle of the woods, but we ought to get at least 150' to either side of the designated trail to play and they should stop closing trails down just because they are popular with off-road enthusiasts (and not passable for the average Chevy sedan). It's not like the damn logging companies don't come out there and do a crap ton more damage than we ever thought about doing.:rant:

    You and me both. That rain sucked last time. Saturday wasn't a good day for me at all. If it wasn't for Frank's comedy hour that evening, the entire thing would have sucked. :D

    I can speak with the owners they have let our local wheeling group camp out overnight and I'm sure if we are respectful about it and well mannered they wouldn't have a problem. Plus what's some extra money right?

    Thanks, Jason. It's worth a shot and it would give you guys up in the panhandle a break from having to drive so far for a change. :thumbsup: Keep in mind, we don't have any definite plans for this yet. We're just exploring possibilities.

    In your opinion, is there enough of interest at this park to justify making a weekend of it?

    The park has some large crevasse areas that only crawlers maker it through lol. The majority of the stuff is built for the hillbilly rednecks with old trucks that just get destroyed and the crawlers. They have a handful of trails that are fun... But a weekend honestly probably not. We may be able to explore Wglin range though, just no idea if we can camp on it... Lol.

    Also, 4WD, 2nights :)

    That might be a plan if there's a camping area at Eglin we can use. If we rode those trails and did the park on Sunday or something that would fit in with the format we're establishing for this event.
