Fall Camp & Ride (Oct. 20-22, 2017)

I'm excited for having a 30 minute conversation with Lee and then him completely forgetting about it

 

I say we have include a Chili cookoff as well.

 

Maybe some truck prizes or something

 

We should come up with a challenge for the event. Do something like a timed course, a 2wd obstacle challenge, the "Stuck as Fuck" challenge, etc...

 

That sounds like a good idea

 

Like Dom said, even do a "car show" type thing on Saturday afternoon with "fun" awards like best Mall Crawler build, Biggest Bro, etc...

 

I like all of these ideas. "came from furthest away award", "most damage". I really like best mall crawler haha. The challenges is a great idea as well

I just thought it would be cool to get people to interact. At the red clay rally the first day all the trucks lined up side by side in a big parking a few rows deep, hood up, and people walked around and talked about the trucks. "hey sweet bumper where is that from?" "what size wheels are you running I like the offset". "oh we are from the same city I saw you driving around but never said anything". It was cool.

 

and then yall got into one big circle jerk amiright

 

So should we collect some cash so it will be given to the selected member for winning the challenge or is just going to be title?

 

I think this is a cool idea always interested in what other guys have done in mods to there rigs. Love to check out @Timbo89 trailer build.

 

If someone has access to one of those big ramps, we could even do a flex challenge.

We can do like a 5 dollar a truck thing, but I think money is dumb. Prizes can be simple. Stickers/patches. It's more the thought that counts here. Maybe we can come up with some sort of trophy for truck of the show and they have to hold it until next year where they crown the next winner

 

And the trophy will not be a real trophy. Maybe an axle welded to a base or something. I have some spare parts laying around

 

Yeah so you hold the title and the trophy for a year and than pass it along the following year. I like this idea Dom

 

I've reached out to a few vendors to see if we can get some donated prizes. We'll see what happens.
