Ok. So when it comes time for the permits for White Rim. I'll be getting 2, paired up at the campsites that have multiple spots. That way we have 6 spots. Which should cover everyone going.
    Unless my numbers are wrong.
After White Rim, what does everyone want to do?

Minor update to OP post. Still waiting for the 10th to get the permits for White Rim.
As it says, the 16-18th is flexible. Unless I can get Elephant hill permits for one of those dates also. Which would be rad as F.

Working on editing the main post.
Permits for White Rim went very fast. I was stuck in the Dentist and had to hit road for emergency for work.
When I was able to try to get permits about 1030am AZ time. Recreation.gov was giving me fits. Because permits were selling out that quickly after just releasing.

So for now, we have backcountry permits for staying at Bobby Jo 1 and Bobby Jo 2 campground. Have to access via Elephant hill.
Permits became an issue because the only allow you one permit per night regardless.
The group sizes are limited to 8 people and 3 vehicles max. With as many as we are going, I had to have @MR E30 get the second permit.

    Updated the main post.
I'm digging the Lockart Basin way up to Moab. Its through BLM land, plenty of cool places to camp. Puts us right into a crossroads of some cool Moab stuff.

    No
Edit: essentially the reservations sold out faster than bots buying tickets for a concert.

I am going to pull out of this one. To many things going on that limit my play time. I hope you all have a great time.

Finally did the TX mod on my ham rig and swapped to a broader range dual band antenna...don't have to use that junky piece of Chinesium for trail comms anymore :yay:

You bet your ass it is! Been looking forward to this trip for a loooong time.

@Sixthelement and I stumbled across an exquisite campsite this past weekend that we will start the trip off with.

Plus it is right near a very cool technical trail that Will can upload a video or two of.

Yes. Need everyone’s height and width. Trail has some limitations on those.
