Ah, i see. I hate that there is a gap when using the flat walls. Ive been using the outer shack wall since its taller and there arent any gaps accordingly

I started making this armory, but placing the weapons is a huge pain in the ass. Still trying to figure it out without mods.

Started doing this too, BUT jeez what a pain. Dogmeat would tend to come barrelling up and faceplant into it, knocking the stuff on the bottom into a snowballing cacophany of metal and wood.

Items would randomly 'fall off' the shelf and end up behind it, like stuck between the shelf and the wall, etc.

I'm in my third playthough now, and am making a new space frisby fortress over the red rocket. I'm not sure how to handle the weapon displays/storage in this one yet. The last one sucked to maintain.

How you liking that game? I've had it on my ps4 for the longest time and I've never played it.

havent played it more than 20 minutes so far, but graphics look really good and intense story somewhat. but its a slow start as of now.

Nothing really to add, just that thread combines my love of fallout and Tacomas into one entity.

Actually I do have a question. I haven't made my way to diamond city yet, just exploring, and I'm already lvl 20. Should I start the main quest before the enemies start getting harder down south?

I didn't. The more you explore the more context you'll be able to provide through dialogue. I didn't reach diamond city till a couple days ago at lv 35.

The mob scaling is occasionally twitchy, but overall pretty decent. Yea, the stuff down south is generally tougher, but the game usually does a pretty good job keeping it feasible.

First time I was exploring and found what ended up being a Gunners fortress notwithstanding.

    Anyone willing to help?

    Story mission: The Molecular Level

I'm at the Brotherhood of Steel airport and I have built everything I need to. I have all my generators hooked up to the console, the dish, and the beam emitter; however the platform will not get power. It's directly under the beam emitter, but it's not charging from it.

I googled it, and this is a common problem I guess. The only solution was

    A) check to see if you wired everything right

    Or

    B) remove carpets or "artificial floor"

I've done both and I just have no idea why this isn't working. The game shows that I need nothing powered except the platform. I've tried adding another generator and connecting a wire, but there isn't a place to actually connect it.

    Help :bananadead:

I ended up physically moving every single piece at least twice. After the second 'full move and reconnect' it worked and fired right up.

Weird, I did mine on a foundation from a scrapped house in sanctuary and it worked the first try (once I hooked up the power correctly).

What was I supposed to get inside the institute? I remember I had to get Virgil's serum. So I got that. But wasn't I supposed to get something else too?

I haven't played fallout for 2 weeks now, reading through this thread and looking at the cool screenshots make me want to play it all night now.
