I'm still only around level 20 and just recently decided I'd rather do a stealth build for my character so I've got a lot of perks left to get.

 

I'm a 44 iirc and after reading here about the badass snipers that's what I went with.

 

I just finished the Nick Valentine side quest and got the Close to Metal perk that comes with completion

I'm at Level 42

 

I been trying to complete Danse but he doesn't seem to care how many of those trivial BoS missions I do. It seems he likes it when I help random friendly wastelanders

 

@because_minitruck Are you still trying to get Danse as a companion? If so, you'll need to complete more of the main story line to trigger the continuing BOS storyline. Otherwise, you'll be stuck clearing crap for the asshole guy and finding tech for the chick until the cows come home.

 

Yeah there's some stuff you have to learn about Danse then make a decision then you can complete him

 

I'm trying to do the brotherhood quest Show no Mercy but where is the damn vertibird gunship??? Only vertibird takes me directly to the airport. Confused I am

 

If that's the one where you have to go milk the super mutants at that fort then the vertibird is at the airport

 

I had that happen too. Hard-save your game and exist all the way to the desktop. Reboot. Reload save game on a fresh launch and it should appear after you wander around the gantry for a minute.

Mine was actually bugged and the engines were on fire. Made it hard as hell to aim the minigun

 

I had that problem too, try loading the most recent save point before you started that quest, or do a quick reset. I reset and the vertibird was there.

 

I can find it though. Only vertibirds I can find go back and forth from the airport to the prydwen

 

Ok thanks! I'll give it a go. I did see one bird on the ground in the water on fire and the brotherhood where shooting at it.

 

That's the one haha. For me it was in the water but not on fire.

 

At least once every time I play I'll see the brotherhood fly a vertibird straight into a building or something haha.

 

No dice. I'm going to have to go way back. It's still not showing up

 

I just finished wiping out the Gunners at their home base for the fifth time. Anytime I need caps or laser ammo I go take that place to brown town .

 

Sorry to hear it mate. That's a buggy mission for a lot of folks, I found when it happened to me.

 

I have like 2000 fusion cels and about 50 fusion cores right now lol

 

I have 3000 fusion cells and 45 fusion cores... can't ever have enough though. That place is easy to take back at least 2000 caps in haul in one trip just in weapons. Plus it's quick to go through once you know the layout. You just warp there, destroy them, loot them, and unload in diamond city. It's even easier than waiting for purified water and a whole lot more fun.

 

Oz, is there a certain checkpoint I have to hit to get the concrete walls like you mentioned earlier? I couldn't find them in the menu.
