I just found that flame power armor last night. Haven't seen the shark in game yet.
Do either provide any benefit?

 

They both do the same thing...set gives AGI bonus IIRC

 

Anyone want some Quantum?

 

I saved all mine too for a while because of that mission in fallout 3 lol




So I was just minding my own business modding my 10 floor building on spectacle island when all the sudden a bunch of raiders spawned and started attacking. I think there were 8 total. 3 in power armor. 2 legendaries. Shit. Was. Cray. I almost died because I had no armor on and they flanked me and destroyed my corn crops haha

 

Lol I saved mine until I had 18, and they just kept being a weight problem. I eventually gave them to my companion but the last time I checked, she either dropped them all or drank em. I still can't get myself to drink one though, ever since the fallout 3 mission.

 

Raiders attacked my Spectacle Island fortress last night , half of them were on the beach inside the walls and a couple with missile launchers were outside the walls on the other side of the island

 

So I played my first character to level 50.. felt like I didn't explore enough before diving into the storyline.. started over and purposely avoided the BoS but that damn giant blimp just popped in even without me doing quests for danse. I cant stand these dumb ass do nothing side missions, for the same reason I avoid sanctuary and Preston like the plauge

 

But Preston gives you the Castle

 

yeah but im still waiting to do that ... I found convenient this time around so it is my base of operations and were I keep all my companions and no random settlers.

 

has anyone found a way to put things on display without them falling through the object/floor... I have found a few cool little mr handy models and no matter what I put them on within a few days (in game time) they are gone so I have to disassemble my floors to get them back..

 

Yeah a couple spawned in the middle of the island and a few right beside me on the north side

 

I try to remember to dump all my cash on my pool table.. incase you know I fix the commonwealth and bring Pre-War money back as active currency.

 

Why not just carry it?

 

Haha, I've got roughly 1470 pre war money in my inventory. I'll have to try that and see what it looks like.

 

bc it looks cooler having a pool table covered in cash.

IF you drop it all at once it will be one stack that is worth 1470.. I usually just quick travel home periodically dump the money on the floor then all my junk into storage and then pick and place the cash stack on table.. some are worth 10 some are worth a couple hundred

 

so that is the other thing.. the cash doesn't fall through the pool table but my damn mr handy robots fall through shelf or counter Ive tried displaying them on

 

Has anyone else built resources on opposing sides of Spectacle Island? I have several turrets on the power generator boat, on the south side, guarding a few water purifiers. On the north side I have my 10 floor building with windmills in the top. The two sides of the island are wired together. Yet if I'm on the north side, my workshop doesn't acknowledge my south side resources about 90% of the time and vice versa
