I think I know what your talking about. I had one west of vault 111 under or near a power line there was a stand. Some times there has been a trader there, other times not. And just past that there has been a small group of raiders living under a power line

Guessing it's just a randomized list of stuff that can be there when you start your game?

 

Are you adding the 3 different numbers (physical,radiation,energy) or is 360 for just physical?

 

I actually made a mistake , it's 340 , but yeah 340 physical . Not adding them together

 

Jeez, shows how much i didnt get in my original game (i never had bulletproof weave either though). Mine was only at like 150.

 

Really not hard. Have armorer skill and it makes ALLLLLL the diff

Take heavy combat armor and/or heavy metal armor and crank it up


Then put ballistic weave 5 on your shit. So overpowered



Add it up and you get

 

Interesting , your ultra light polished metal arms have a higher rating than my ultra light polymer heavy combat armor arms

 

You guys playing a higher difficulty? Mines at the default and the minute man generals uniform or the silver shroud costume is more than enough protection for me

 

Oh yeah , last night I did a bit of an experiment and climbed up on the elevated highway near Graygarden , and you can scrap vehicles and tires on the highway so I presume you can build up there too

Yes. I started the same way you did, but when I modded the metal up I get these stats, so I swapped to them. Looking for the legs now, to see if its true for them as well.

I am, I'm on Hard.

 

I have lots of polished metal armor , I'll have to experiment tonight

 

Make sure you start with heavy, just like the combat armors

Heavy metal armour ? Can't remember seeing that , probably stopped paying attention once I got all Heavy Combat Armour

 

Lvl 13 and just made it to diamond city. Think I'm going to abandon the main story line until I get to about lvl 30 and then go after it, maybe I can pick up some more heavy metal armor and just not use power armor as much this play through.

 

Yep, it's a step up from sturdy, just like the combat armors. Get it from the named or special raiders (similar to getting the heavy combat gear from Gunners)
