Check your companion's inventory

Some companions have sticky fingers, and if the legendary item was a weapon, say, and it was dropped from the targets' hands at death, your companion could have scooped it up

 

Yeah, talk about it. All of a sudden Valintine is stealing all the ammo he can find. It's kind of nice in a way, as in nothing is getting left behind, but annoying in another when I go into his inventory and he's hoarding a pile of ammo.

 

I was fighting some raiders and all of a sudden Cait lights them all up with a napalmer super flamer and I was like where the fuck did you get that . Must have picked it up when we were fighting the Forged

 

It doesn't bother me when they pick up weapons, ammo or even armor. What pissed me off is when they pick of frags and molotovs and then use them. I'd estimate at least 75% of the time they hit me with them

 

So I realized I no longer get quests from Preston...

 

Come to think of it , I don't think I've got any radiant quests from him since I got his perk

 

Hell, I may move to him now just for this reason alone

 

I wanted his quests for the XP.

I haven't got anything from him since completing the story.

 

I have one broken Minuteman radiant quest I can't complete , maybe thats why I haven't received any more

 

I think the newest update changed something about the Preston quests

 

"Fixed an issue where Preston would send player to a settlement instead of a dungeon as part of a Minutemen quest"

"Fixed an issue with Minutemen quests repeating improperly"

Good luck on 100. I'm going to NorCal for awhile to work on some things and won't be able to play.

 

Reaching level 272 will allow you to acquire all perks and 10 S.P.E.C.I.A.L. (11 if bobbleheads are taken with 10 of a stat).

 

Anybody else activate the Drinking Buddy Protectron and send him to one of your settlements to supply you with endless cold beer ?

 

Yes. His jokes are funny.

 

I sent him to Covenant while Strong and I went to Hangman's Alley to unload a crap load of junk and armour into the workshop , then I just read that unlike companions he can die and should be escorted home to wherever you've sent him

A question for you gurus... I keep assigning Codsworth to scrap or to guard duty and every time I return to Sanctuary, he's unassigned and wandering around. Bug? Or does he just do what he wants? Lol
