Fallout 4

I have not, actually.

 

Aparantly the first Fallout was the spiritual successor of the first Wasteland according to this wiki

I haven't played any of the Fallouts prior to Fallout 3 and New Vegas either. But if I were ever to build a gaming computer, I'd like to play all the games that got us to where Fallout 4 is today. Gotta know your roots lol

 

I "started" with Fallout 2, then went back and played the original....(didn't care for the time limit, frankly, but really good otherwise)

 

I wish they had em all to download for ps4. I'd get all the previous Fallout incarnations, Wasteland, and Fountain of Dreams. It seems the only way to play most of these old games is on PC though and I'm not computer smart. Also I read rumors that the cancelled game Meantime may be getting rebooted and that seems interesting. All these games basically exist because of Wasteland. Pretty neat.

 

Well...seriously, there's no such thing as 'not computer smart' as an excuse in the modern internet age There's lots of us here that do this shit for a living that love helping folks out with issues and making things work, especially for gaming.

Right on. That's the reason i console game because I don't understand computer hardware and specs. Maybe we should go to pm so not to clutter the thread. Also I don't know what EIP or GOG means

I haven't invested anything into lock perk perk this go round and I just realized that Cait can pick locks if you give her bobby pins

 

So I just ran into jack Cabot wondering near the Saugus ironworks and despite my misc missions saying to speak to him about the artifact gun, I can't initiate a conversation with him. We just exchange short greetings. Wtf

 

I found a mutilated body or more like a pile of bloody arms and legs in the middle of nowhere and hovering over it , it was Old Man Stockton

 

I finally completed the "good" ending. Everyone is happy minus the institute, which done der got blew up.

 

Season Pass goes up in price tomorrow.

 

What's everyone doing after completing the game? I completed the minutemen ending a while ago and now I'm bored

Start over and choose a different route?

 

Ding ding ding. I'm on my second play through, using a different player build no power armor, harder difficulty and trying for a different ending. I haven't played in like a week though.

Don't the dlc's start being released tomorrow?

I haven't played for a couple weeks or so, so I can't tell ya. What do the dlc's consist of? Another play through would be alright. Plus side is I'll be able to build my perks a lot better than the first time. I completely fucked that up on my first play through.

 

Bethesda site says March, April, May 2016. No exact dates for release.

 

So far theres two small dlc's involving crafting and fighting and then a large one involving a new story. There is chatter about more large dlc's to come like the two previous Fo3 and NV had. If u buy the season pass today it's 30 bucks for any and all fo4 dlc's to be released. It goes up to 50 bucks tomorrow and I've read to expect it to hit 60 bucks eventually.

 

Meh, I have lots to do to get my perfect game to where I want it to be for add on season.
