Yeah that place is crawling with gunners and cool loot

 

I guess its because of my high level but they're all Legendary or Gunner Brigadiers

I still can't seem to unlock Sommerville Place as a settlement so I took a Feed the Troops BOS side mission that directed me to secure a crop donation from them hoping that would unlock the settlement but it didn't unlock the workshop and now that settlement is " under BOS control " so not sure if I made the situation better or worse

 

I never did a single "feed the troops" mission.

I finally completed the quest. In mine the only faction killed was the Institute.
I also didnt take out Danse, hung with him until I got his perk.
I havent been back to the Prydwin yet.

I did the 1st DLC, havent bothered with anything from the second.
In May we get Far Harbor, I guess.

 

You can still get radiant quests from the BOS , and Railroad after the perfect ending , haven't got any Minutemen missions though even going to the Castle , listening to Freedom Radio and talking to Preston won't prompt any for me

Ive decided to give up on the game. I am not going back to do another fucking 8 hours of gaming to get back to where I was. Fuck fallout 4

 

8 hours? Why did you disable autosave? Have you even checked the fallout wikia pages for a definite answer to your problem yet, or just here?

 

I have it on auto save all the time. I am not sure why there is such a huge gap but it puts me back 4 days ago...

 

And yes I have searched the web even before coming here for the answer and nothing has worked yet

• Although the quest simply requires all parts linked together in the same power grid, it is better to at least arrange the console close to the platform, within dialogue distance. If the two are too far apart, when the player character stands on the platform, the operator may not be able to start the teleportation sequence. Also, the operator may start to 'work' on one of the part that one has already built, making them unable to move the part, nor can one command him to move away. One can try to power off / on other parts (by attaching / detaching wire) to lure him off the part one wants to move.

• If the faction leaders keep saying that "it all needs to be connected to the same grid" even if all the pieces are correctly placed and lined up, removing and replacing them will often allow the quest to continue.

The quest can become bugged when wiring everything. It will keep telling you that the reflector platform is not connected to the circuit, even though it actually is. Storing and rebuilding, and than again wiring everything should do the trick (or building 3 connecting generators (10 power each) and connecting these to the console. Then connect the beam emitter and the relay dish with the console

 

Ive done all this now atleast 4 times

started playing again this weekend with rerolling my character. i couldnt stand the pacify enemy perks since they change your aim reticle to large squares making it hard to see. 9 intelligence, 8 charisma, 4 strength and some in endurance i think. dont remember exactly

also put it down to very hard difficulty which makes it a lot more enjoyable than trying to play survival and being grenaded every two seconds. i was in the excavation and guys were throwing them to the top last time i tried playing which theyd blow up as soon as they hit the ground up there.

almost have codsworth companion perk too. excited to start automatron when i reach 15
