Never seen skyrim run on pc, but i enjoyed it on console. Graphics could have been better though. Im sure my desktop would run it but i never got into pc gaming. The only reason i built it was to run diablo 3.
Both digital and hard copy will be sitting on the hard drive. The disk isnt coming with full content on it.
$30 expansion pack. I signed up for it.

It was my first build. Tried doing it on the cheap. Already changed the original GPU I bought to an R9 280x which has been fantastic. I do agree though. The driver's suck ass. My real issue is that my CPU is maxed out when my GPU is at 40%. I'm asking a lot out of that little athlon 760k. Can't complain too much when it looks like this and runs skyrim at max settings though haha.

Yeah, sounds like my first build. Then I went K-series Intel i7 and a 680GTX (new at the time) and I can still play almost everything at max almost 4 years later. My next build will be similar.

If I did it again I'd go intel without hesitation. Way less hassle with software. And in reality I didn't save much money had I just done intel in the first place. Oh well, live and learn.

    Here's mine IIRC:
    Asus Nvidia 680GTX 2Gig
    Coolermaster 212 Evo
    Samsung Bluray drive
Asrock Z77 board (can't remember which one)
Intel i7 3770K clocked to just over 4.0 Ghz
128 GB Samsung Evo SSD OS drive
256 GB Corsair GT SSD gaming drive
500 GB WD Scorpion Blue HDD for files
G Skill ripjaw 1600 mhz 8 gig ram (2x4 GB)
Corsair 750 modular PSU (I think it's the same as yours)
Corsair white case (I can't remember it's name but it's kicks ass, super easy cable and drive management.)

Cost was about 1500 CAD all new when the stuff was top end, I saved money by waiting for sales.

Nice. I wanted to go i7 but for the cost it didnt make sense when i purchased. Figured i didnt need ssd either since i dont play any games other than what i built it for. Dont know enough specifics to understand what my weak point is. But it works well, ha.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
My comp is getting old now but it consists of
    • Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe
    • Intel Core i7-3770k (at 4.1Ghz, undervolted)
    • Corsair Vengeance 16gb (1886)
    • EVGA GTX 780
    • Swiftech H220 half loop with Noctua NF-F12 fans
    • Samsung 840 Pro SSD (boot only)
    • All in a Corsair Obsidian 250D case
    • LG Ultrawide 29" monitor (2560x1080)
Hope it plays Fallout 4 maxed out, its getting a bit old now

I used to be a die hard AMD fan but they started putting out drivers that were unstable at best and releasing processors that even overclocked could barely touch a stock Intel equivalent. Still wish they'd come back, but anyone learning to overclock should learn on an AMD, they are graceful and forgiving with voltage and base clock tuning.

LOL, our builds are about the same. I'm a one gen newer i7 but you have a 780 instead of a 680.

I'll be going with Xbox One for fallout though.

Family member is a project manager for nVidia so he gave it to me for free. I had it before it was released to the public. Card cost $0. My H100i is awesome. I have it in a push/pull setup up top and have no issues.

Original build was for Diablo 3. I had a 550Ti before that I use for work now.

Anything I don't use I have to give back:oops:. He's a huge techy guy so he'll just mail me random GPU's, cables, Raspberry Pi's, etc. I drive up to Santa Clara every quarter so the wife can see the kids and I can check out what's coming out next. :drevil:

Been using a 980Ti and i7 to play Skyrim quite modded and it's been fantastic. My current monitor isn't much (Qnix 2710) but I'm still waiting for the new Asus 34 IPS g sync.
