Fallout 4

Well, I started reading the "good ending" walk through and I realized that I completed Shadows of Steel. Does anyone know if the good ending is still obtainable? Am I SOL?

 

Finally getting into DIMAs memories. It is an enjoyable little minigame 3/5 done.
- I just learned that even though you need to build up blocks for the beam reflectors, once up in the air they are happy staying there.
- I have decided to go with a peaceful resolution, even though my instinct is to wipe out the Children of Atom. On the other hand there would be a delicious irony in putting them closer to Atom, as they desire...

Contraptions DLC ~ New build items

I downloaded Contraptions tonight and messed around with some of the new build items

Having watched a bunch of Norespawns youtube videos and the new items make me wanna rebuild most of my settlements

Tonight at Starlight Theatre I ripped out a huge section of junk fence and replaced it with a bus and a big rig trailer with a scaffolding walkway on top , scaffolding stairs up and a gaurd post on top , looks so much cooler , like Pappagalo's oil refinery compound in The Road Warrior

 

So where are the pics of your settlements? I feel like mine are just perimeter fenced towns with stores, nothing exciting. But the last time I played this game was like February.

 

My most built settlement I recall was starlight theater. From what I've read from y'all is there's more settlement locations added on? Are these link able to the mainland and its supplies?

 

There are four settlements with the Far Harbor DLC and one more "settlement" that is similar to the Boston Airport (no water or food) with the Automatron DLC.

All of them are able to be linked with supply lines.

 

If you could post pics from the PS4 to Live , I would do it

 

Seems so dumb to me that at Boston Airport you can build garden beds but you have no option to build crops

 

Yeah. You can also setup water pumps but you can't plant crops? Silly.

 

I can understand it at the Mechanists Lair being underground and all but its stupid and makes zero sense at the Airport

 

I think Bethesda half-assed that settlement location because they just needed a place to build BOS items like parts for Liberty Prime and the Signal Interceptor.

 

I think sometimes that Bethesda half assed this game out of the gate. At least on the stability side. I've had way more issues with it then with Skyrim. The updates and addons though have been very solid.

 

Are you on PC? My game ran flawlessly until recently (except for the disappearing gun/Pip Boy glitch). I took a few months off and started playing again with the Far Harbor release. I'm not sure if it's due to the DLC itself or a driver update that happened in the meantime, but I've been experiencing some significant frame drops at times and I've crashed out twice.

 

Far Harbor is far more glitchy on PS4 than the main game was

That's good to know. All of my frame drops have happened in the expansion.

Nvidia releases a video driver update every 30 seconds, so I was leaning toward that being my issue.
