I have no idea why....I don't really follow achievements, or such, but THIS

is compellingly important to me whenever I play a FO game

That's a shame. The new content is what draws me back. I get bored with the regular explore gaming when I don't have a "mission" to do.
I've been playing dark souls 3. 43 hours of gameplay already into it and I just beat it's normal difficulty. Starting new game + (harder) now.
    I'd hope so.
Haven't decided if I want to pick it up yet, was/is one of my favorite games

Sunshine Tidings Co-op is now officially dope

I got all my walls and gaurd posts finished , did the front gate with a bus and a big rig trailer with gaurd posts on top and used the warehouse rolling door as a main gate and rigged it up to one of the new Logic Gate switches and to my siren , so that the Logic Gate throughputs power unless the siren comes on , so basically the big overhead roller door stays open up until the settlement is attacked and a settler turns on the siren , automatically dropping the roller door main gate which stays closed till they turn the siren off at which point the door opens again , haha

Well I've been super busy with tour season for work. Basically I do a lot of in field demos and talk about them to illustrate our offerings for the next year to the market. Anyways those get old fast but they require a lot of work to come off right so I've had no time for Fallout. Just as it looks like I'll have some time soon one of my cats, somehow, knocked down my 42" 4K TV in my man cave destroying it on Sunday morning. I'm pretty much broke right now since my wife took a paycut and our costs in Alberta for everything are up nearly 20% overall with more problems coming so a new TV is not an option. It sucks that I can't play Fallout in my basement anymore so for now no Xbone gaming for me.

Keep an eye on craigslist or that kijii thingy you guys have up there for a used tv. Ive been browsing recently cause my gf has a tiny ass tv in her bedroom (like 12") and i kind of want a bigger one. But Ive seen some good deals and 2-3 year old 40"+ tvs going for sub 100 bucks. And those bein Sony/Panasonic types.

    Just an option!

I'm currently building up my settlement at Croup Manor and decided that I wanted to try to see if I could make the existing structure itself a completely self contained settlement without gardens and shops outside etc

I've been kicking around this idea of building a roof garden somewhere with the garden plots and pulled it off at Croup Manor . All beds , shops and food are inside the renovated main building , I have a steel warehouse perimiter wall with a catwalk and guard posts around the building but it's just outside the building footprint rather than on the outskirts of the buildable area like I usually do , the only resource I needed to house outside is some powered water wells , I tucked a fusion generator in the basement and built a catwalk out to a guard post on the concrete monument in the middle of the square in front of the building . I used the idea of the overhead door switched with the siren and a logic gate again .

I'll post up some pics after I clean up a few details .

As an interesting side note , I ran into a hostile X6-88 out there , I thought I left him in the Institute when it got blown up

I've been out of the game for a while. Settlement building isn't really my thing since I'm not very artistic/creative. There isn't much else to work towards either since my weapons are all pretty good.

I pretty much am only doing " defend settlement or defend checkpoint " missions now and am just building shit and scrounging resources
