So I found another bug. I went into my workshop to collect caps and out of curiosity I pressed r3 (inspect) and it shows caps as a bottle of acid.

 

I stopped into Longfellow's Cabin for the first time in a while and there was 6800 caps in the workshop lol

Still find this hard to believe considering I've only ever used 1 of each type of store and the highest I can get is 85% and if you're getting 85% with I assume multiple duplicates then something ain't right.

 

I didn't say I used multiples everywhere , I just said that the happiness factor does stack

Honestly I haven't ever really tried to get 100% , kinda not a trophy I have previously cared too much about

So I decided to finally go get Somerville Place , I could never get a Minuteman quest to activate for that settlement no matter what I did , tried going there and talking to the settler there a bunch of times , tortured myself by leaving Freedom Radio on for hours and even took Preston Garvey there to try to prompt a quest but no dice .

Dismissed Preston and sent him back to Sanctuary and once he was out of sight I went up onto the hill behind the house and shot the dad with my silenced sniper rifle .

Kids ran away , workshop is accessible to me now

Yeah I'm trying the 1 settler thing you linked but I'm a bit skeptical , I've been there 2 game days and the Happiness went from 50 to 68

 

2 settlers, on farms, one does surgery.

 

There's 2 options in that thread you linked for 1 settler or 2 , I currently have 1 there but could move a second from another settlement
