I'm officially still skeptical that this 1 or 2 settler thing is going to hit 100 happiness , after another whole playing session I'm only up to 85 now and thats with 2 settlers plus I got a cat there and I'm in the process of getting a dog there which both boost happiness

 

Are you going to do the perfect ending ? ie Minutemen , Railroad and BOS are all still allied to you ?

 

Yes, I checked where I need to stop at each point of faction and so far so good. At this point I saved an additional file for when I want to do an institute ending.

 

I swear its how I got it done!

OK maybe this 2 settler concept might work for 100 Happiness after all , its just taking longer than I thought but the happiness arrow has been green and positive the whole time and steadily but slowly climbing its at 90 now

Went with 2 settlers , 1 doing food and 1 assigned to a Tier 3 Bar / Restaurant , plus I added 2 house cats and a Junkyard dog with the powered cages which all provide happiness plus the junkyard dog adds defence , gonna add some more pets as I catch them

 

How do you get cats? And what are powered cages?

Anybody else have a settler just disappear ? One of my gaurds at my Nuka World Red Rocket just isn't there anymore , no attack , no body anywhere and her gaurd posts still show as assigned

She was wearing Oswald's tophat

Maybe its one of his magic tricks lol

 

Happened to me yesterday at nordhagen. Rang the bell to assign a provisioner, it said there was 4 people but only saw three and once I entered build mode the 4th settler literally appeared out of a power generator.

 

I really hope she shows up , I made all those settlers kinda steampunky / Mad Max-y and she was wearing the Oswald's Top Hat Legendary , and one of only 2 sets of Railroad MK2 Armoured coats that I ever found in the game
