    The magazines/bobbleheads people refer to will provide permanent stat boosts. They are great things to stumble upon, but I wouldn't lose any sleep about it for now. I am sure that there are trophies or something associated with them, but the majority of places you will be able to circle back to later, and I personally don't plan on trophy hunting until I have at least run through the main story once.

    As for the supplies I am concerned that they don't stay. They didn't in previous games, but crafting wasn't a thing either. I haven't looked, but hopefully they do stay or strength/carrying capacity will be an issue later.

    yes i would say so. ive never played any of them before and i enjoy it already.
    the magazines provide perks that are NOT in the perk tree. each magazine has a subsequent series of them (the gragnak i found has a total of 10 levels, therefore there are 10 magazines) and the only way to advance it is by finding the other magazines.

    bobbleheads increase a stat permanently.

    both collectable, but dont need kept to keep the stat/perk bonus

    mats will store in the workbenches and dont disappear. thats where i put mine. it is possible they can get raided but i havent found that out yet.

    hes a completionist. he will want to find everything

    I tried to do some crafting on my 10mm last night. It was confusing as shit. I didn't give it a whole lot of time commitment though.

    Yeah, it's going to take hours just to get a weapon the way you like it... and then you'll find a better gun that you want to work on.

    Did they get rid of wear on weapons? How do you repair armor? So much to learn on Fallout 4.

    I went thru the same ordeal. I eventually figured out how to add a longer barrel if I remember right.

    Great question! I kept trying to combine my three 10mm's but could never find that option. Now I have one long barrel and two normal 10mm's

    So is there really a need to keep two 10mm's that are the same? Scrap one then you have materials for mods correct?

    Unfortunately I think so. Well, Xbone and PS4.

    I haven't fired enough rounds to even notice, but I would imagine you scrap the one for materials for mods. The other question I have is that every time I do a mod does it create an entirely new weapon and then the next mod makes a new gun with both mods, etc? Or can I just mod the one that I have?

    I JUST NEED SOME SERIOUS ASS IN SEAT TIME WITH THIS GAME

    Exactly. You can scrap weapons at a workbench and use those parts to craft upgrades and accessories. That or sell to a trader, which seem much harder to find in FO4. Anyone else notice that?

    No more cannibalizing weapons and gear to "repair" them like in previous Fallout titles, thank god.
