Basically yes, you do have to scavenge to find more seeds for different crops. You can assign a farmer to the crops you have and replant them if you aren't picky about what food is available for crafting to get more of the same plants, but to get different crops you have to find there fruits. That's my experience anyways .

This. Usually youll find the fruit and it gets planted. Also you can harvest ones that are finished and replant them to gain another food source. Thats how ive been setting up my food sources.

When will we be able to do this?

I made it to lvl 6 last night almost to 7. I find myself taking 10-15 minutes trying to figure out what perk or s.p.e.c.i.a.l I want to increase haha. The Satellite Station was a lot of fun trying to overrun. That one bitch just wouldn't die. Brought back great memories from Fallout 3 in having to use tactics to outsmart the enemy. Picked up the Cryolater and the 200 cryo with the help of mans best friend. I like the gun but the range is really, really short. Poor Dogmeat has been frozen about at much as my enemies haha. Working on planting crops for Sanctuary and then they will be set. Everything else is in order in terms of defense, water and bedding. Kick ass Fallout release!

 

I think its the level 6 charisma perk.

Idk what satellite station youre talking about? What mission was that?

Yea the gun has way too short of a range to be useful. I just put it in the workshop with others like the minigun/junk jet/flamethrower.

 

Cool thanks I'll keep that perk in mind! It wasn't a mission I was on. I was just out exploring. It's Northeast from Thicket Excavations located on top of a hill. Crouch as you approach...

 

Gotchya. Ill find it eventually then. Gonna keep doing side missions for the minutemen and brotherhood till stuff gets too tough.

Just want to skip work and go get that 2nd suit of power armor i found!

Also one other dumb question , how do you dock your power armor ?

 

Just hop out of it near the stand. Then when you activate the crafting, it miraculously appears docked. That was my experience anyway.

FYI, as of this morning around 7 CST, taking dogmeat into the 111 overseer's office gets you 200 cryo ammo, not the cryolater itself

 

No more reloading shells, but you don't have to worry about repairing the condition of your gear or weapons anymore, so I say solid trade off.

Xbox has frame rate drops worse than pc/ps4 but other than that yes its fine.

Well i have it already, still stand by its not that useful anyways.

The only armor that needs repaired is the power armor as well.
