There's a water purifier already built outside the "Castle" once you get there. You just need to build generators and link them to the existing power grid.

I'm pretty sure you can't build outside of the green zone in settlements.

 

Does anyone know what Bethesda is patching in the first update. I remember the first PC skyrim update changed a few things.

 

Mine too but i could build one there if i wanted, haven't tried yet

 

I wish the castle was more castle like. If that makes sense. It just looks like a pile of rubble to me so i dont want to build there.

So you get to pick the location of your sanctuary? I assume there's a certain number a pre-set bases you can take over?

 

"Sanctuary" is your original hometown. But you can build at a number of "settlement areas".

 

Do raiders/deathclaws/etc periodically attack the settlements?

 

Yes, although i havent participated in any

 

I stupidly attacked some raiders that were armed with Fat Men. It didn't last very long.

 

Damn the DC raiders got nothing on the commonwealth.

Built a nice defense gate in sanctuary today. Been having a blast with the building in this game. Captured a few more in the process.

I have 84 stimpaks, I almost never get hurt enough to need one, caps are less common though but stimpaks seem more common than ever
