Yeah. I just hate though that the odd enemy (sentry bots!) is just a nightmare on hard. I still use stimpacks almost as fast as I get them on normal for the odd "boss". I'll probably stick on normal till the main story is complete.

Well, I think we can all agree radioactive diarrhea is worse than just normal diarrhea.

Tried building my castle really tall, apparently there is a build limit per settlement. I have an entire second floor though covering the open area.

Decided on being a sneaky character. Loving it. Built a bolt action hunting rifle up with a full recon scope and marksman stock as my main sniper. My secondary sniper is the laser musket with a long scope, long barrel, and full stock. Right now I can charge it up to 3 but once it's at 6, it will destroy anybody.

My other main weapons are an automatic pipe rifle, automatic laser rifle, and a few various pistols. Spend most of my resources on snipers.

Anybody know what the different colours for your settlement stats mean at the top when you open the crafting menu in one of your settlements ?

Obviously green probably means good , red is bad but I have the size stat in yellow at my Starlight Theatre settlement

    That makes sense

I think your max settlers is determined by your charisma level

I think there's a fully built up .308 hunting sniper at the downed flight.

So my Sanctuary settlement just doesn't seem to want to grow past 6 settlers

I have lots of beds , water and food allocated and assigned and defense is pretty high , all stats in the green and Happiness at just over 80%

I also have the Level 2 Local Leader perk and Charisma of 6 , plus there has been a radio beacon up for a long time

I did get one new settler soon after I put up the beacon and I made him the provisioner and assigned him to a trade route to the Starlight Theatre settlement

    Any ideas ?

Don't feel too bad. I didn't figure that out until level 23 :facepalm:Just about all of my special perks are 10.

Honestly my only real complaint about the game was a lack of any sort of tutorial. You pretty much just get tossed into everything and expected to figure it all out yourself. Building settlements and the perks system being my two biggest complaints. I guess you could say settlements sort of has a tutorial but its super basic (build 6 beds pretty much). The perks i had zero idea about and would have started the game differently had i known (as in what points i put stuff into). But o well i know now at least.

As for difficulty im just sticking to normal. It feels like missions were preset for levels at times. I was level like 21 when i started the brotherhood missions. Those seems more geared for level 10ish.

Man, you would have hated the 80's, no tutorial, no Internet to help. Just play and learn. Kids these days.:annoyed:
