If defense>food/water then it wont get attacked typically. My sanctuary hasnt, nor has my castle

Does anyone know where to get the arms for X-01 armor

 

Fuck I got killed literally 10 times tonight just by some raiders , my weapons and armor suck balls

I'm not sure why you aren't getting more in Sanctuary. I've got 16 and haven't done anything special.

If you want more in that particular settlement, you can select settlers from any other settlement and tell them to go to Sanctuary. Hover over a settler while in workshop mode and hit the "reload" button. You can send them to any settlement you like.

 

Which perk allows you to access your junk at all workshops? Local leader?

 

With Local Leader you can create supply lines , but you only have access to your junk at workshops that are connected by supply lines , not all of them

 

Man I really need robotics expert. These sentry bots on hard are brutal.

They can even be brutal when you are below level 20 without a companion on normal.

 

I learned thats only junk. You dont have access to armor or weapons at other workshops other than the one you transferred it to. Somewhat a disappointment.

 

Sort of an off topic question here but I'm wondering, who is your favorite companion? I'm pretty certain I've found them all and I know for sure the ones I like best. But was wondering who's tagging along with you guys. Also what are you using for armor? I've used the silver shroud armor ever since finding it, still using it at level 52. Before that was just raider spiked. I really don't like power armor in this game for some reason, just feels weaker than it should be I guess.

I used the dog up till you meet Valentine. Then i used him till i started the brotherhood and get Paladin Dense (think thats his name?). been using him ever since. He fits my play style the best.

 

I found Strong in Trinity Tower pretty early on and I've stuck with him ever since. I gave him a super sledge and he tanks while I shoot. I haven't tried any of the others for more than two minutes. I just tell them to follow me and then send them to Sanctuary. Any suggestions?

I'm level 30 and I've been wearing the Minutemen General's outfit (minus the snazzy hat) since I found it. I've come across nicer armor, but I keep selling it because I like the look of the General's coat.

I'm in the same boat with the power armor. I absolutely hated the fact that I had to "repair" weapons and armor in previous Fallout titles, so the thought of doing that with the power armor turns me off completely. When I find them, I just store them at my home in Sanctuary.

 

I use dogmeat. Just because i like a companion that isnt in the way entirely. Yes he can be annoying in doorways, but at least i can shoot over him.

As far as armor, i was using the baseball gear (i accidentally killed a diamond city guard but didnt get caught) but i just put on whatever is better each time i find it.

 

If I wear armor, I wear military gear (fatigues, helmet, boots) with updated metal pieces on my arms, legs, and chest. Most of the time I don't wear armor though and wear clothing that enhances my luck, charisma, or perception. I haven't actually been in combat in a long time. My .308 sniper I've been building has been taking everybody out before they see me.

 

I don't use a companion and use the Lone Wanderer perk. But did use Codsworth until I got that perk cause he gives me purified water doesn't take stimpaks and has sick melee skills. Plus I like hearing Mr. Bond.

 

You can have dogmeat with the lone wanderer.

 

But I wouldn't really be alone and I'm a loner, a rebel.

I use dogmeat all the time, he stores things, holds enemies still, and he can find things and bring them to me.
