I think it'd be impossible to play both at the same time without bullshitting through the whole main quests.

 

I need to hurry up and finish my game so I can mod. This one looks like fun.

 

Build a floating structure. I'm working on a space ship over sanctuary. You can build stairs on top of each other to get up there, lay down a floor and put a tool box. Then, put a fast travel point up there. put your valuables there, and delete the stairs on your way down. Settlers can't reach floating things.

They still show up in places that they already were.

You send one to me. My roommate with fallout just moved out. Now I have to buy my own...

 

is that a recon scope on a pipe bolt action rifle? How is the scope? I'm looking to upgrade my hunting rifle to recon soon.

I'm gonna add a basement in the ship like a drop door garage for my power armor stations so I can drop out like a badass.

damn it...was just looking at the list of companions and stumbled on a spoiler

 

I played through to where I am without any spoilers but my roommate just moved out and my save file was on his playstation so I have to start a new game. Its really going way faster since I know what I'm facing at each location I've been to. I know where to get the weapons I want. Its weird. I'm excited to to a point where I was so I can start really exploring again.

Also just finished making my weapons incredible. My .50 sniper rifle did 300 damage and was silenced. Also, it was a legendary weapon so it did double damage on an enemy with full health. It could one shot deathclaws from sneaking...

Legit! Now im going to go home and redo my castle with a floating area.

 

Also, if you leave your power armor on the ground, the settlers can use it if they are attacked. It is less likely if the power core is out, but one of my suits without a core was taken by a settler. Super Mutants attacked and they just got in the armor, punched a mutant, and ran away never to be seen again. I was still hunting them...

 

My castle hasnt ever been attacked. Too many defenses. But it will be added protection to have it floating.

Too bad the "workshop" itself isnt movable.

 

Agreed. My sanctuary was a fortress but then I learned the value of purified water and increased it's water production to 100 so it's hard to keep up defenses. I always just go to my floating platform when its being attacked and snipe whoever is raiding. I have a very large fence too..
