The mortar is just fun. I've never had it actually work where and when I need it no matter how many I build. The range is too limited.

 

I'm going to go full forward observer tonight and call in some artillery danger close , inside the wire

I'll report back with my findings

 

Danger close inside the wire... so does that mean you are going to have your settlement mortar itself into submission?

 

um no

 

So , the artillery strike was pretty effective against the 5 or 6 Raiders that were attacking me from a building below me , but I can see the limitation due to the delay in it arriving for some situations

And I got to Diamond City tonight

 

Nice job pete. I found a cool armor paint job, didnt realize it was only for t-60 until after i spent 1900 caps. Still gray x-01...

But my t60 on display is now flamin!

 

Does greygarden have the cheapest materials? I haven't discovered it yet.

 

Not necessarily the cheapest but it was the first location I found where I could buy bulk shipments

Lol, no. I still have the silver shroudcostume. I think i'll do that quest today and get rid of it. Dislocated a rib this morning so its game time once ufc is over

 

I find myself spending hours fixing up settlements and at the same time almost feel like I'm going through story too quick... I don't wanna start over but at the same time I wish I could undo some stuff now that I am better at building settlements and understand the supply lines and food water defense ratio etc

 

I haven't purchased shipments of supplies it just seems like 25 of "item" for several hundred caps is overpriced

 

This is where your bartering skills come into play. I have a cabinet at my house full of modded weapons I pick up from dead enemies and sell them all in return for either ammo or scrap. You could also sell your purified waters from the workstation as they keep coming in.

I will have to look into that i usually justs scrap all the weapons.. but I have been running out of 5.56 and 10mm ammo

 

You guys know if you arm your settlers that you assign to gaurd posts and give them 1 bullet they have unlimited ammo

 

Same with your companions. Cait is carrying a submachine gun with 1 bullet and has mowed down countless enemies.
