2010 Tacoma. Fan only works on 1st, 2nd, and 4th setting. 3rd setting blows like it’s in the 1st setting. I replaced the resistor and still the same. Took out the hvac control panel and everything looks fine. Check the harness under the dash and looks ok as well, no browning anywhere. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

I fixed that same issue on mine. It was the #3 plug on the resistor connector. Mine was corroded. Used a mini file to remove corrosion, and a mini pick to bend the tab back into place. All fan settings now work. Toyota must be making a killing selling resistors, when in the majority of cases, it's corroded connectors that are at fault. I also bought a resistor way back when. I put a schematic on another fan thread that shows how to test the resistor.
