FAQ: When will I get my Drifter? How long are people waiting?

I have waited a hot fucking minute for my Drifter and I will wait however much longer until its done. At the end of the day, from what I've seen and what from everyone echoes, this camper is the best of its kind and unmatched in quality. Its honestly hard reconciling being so excited and equally bummed about something. I'm frustrated as well and a little perplexed by how things have been handled and the wait, and wish Phil would answer questions and communicate more openly. But I'm still stoked to get it whenever that may be and I hope Vagabond's struggles with the worldwide supply issues lessens with time and they can get back to delivering lots of campers.

 

…so just to be clear. We’ve got 25 campers completed YTD and been stalled out (again) on 159 for nearly a month? just confirming we’re on track for 2.5 campers per month without any communication. Woof. ‍

 

I believe we've been stalled in the mid-150s since June. Not sure if 152-158 have been delivered yet, the last confirmed delivery is jimlangfordphotography

Hi, climbnow_worklater, so approx 7 months wait from final payment to pickup?

 

I went back and forth a couple times on powder coat (25 months is a long time to think and rethink decisions) I feel like at this point it may have just to lock it in but who knows. I'd like to think that is not typical. I'll try to get more firsthand details at my install and share

 

You guys are patient, way more then I would be. Nice camper and all, but to be blown off with no replies, with 10K dollars in his hand, sorry. Nothing is worth that, nothing.

 

Doing the same thing here and it is killing me. I just decided to cough up the money for the solid back panel with Tern door. Phil said it would delay me a bit for that.

Just checking in to see if anyone who has paid their final invoice has received any updates on their builds?

 

I paid a couple months ago, silence since. I've emailed but not called with no response.

 

What number are you? I thought they requested the full invoice once the build was slated to start

From what I was told, when my invoice came through, they are now trying to collect earlier because of lead time changes with materials. I pushed back stating that I originally was told payment would not be necessary until build start and explained my concerns from seeing posts here about large delays and silence after final payment, no response since then. I also asked what my initial 5k went toward if not materials. Order 195

 

just to clarify...they are trying to collect final payment on 195 when the last one to roll out done is 159?!
