I really want to place an order for one but this is a concern. From what I can gather these campers have exactly what I'm looking for especially traveling with dogs.

They did say they're getting a new space which I'm hoping means they can start working on a higher number of campers at a time. Still hopeful.

Yes, they are actively expanding/moving into an expanded space.

Yes, I can confirm. Saw it with my own eyes and it’s almost complete.

Well, that’s good. I think it would make lots of people happy to hear from them more.

Truthfully the idea of getting my camper right now isnt especially ideal, I dont want a 1500 mile midwinter roadtrip. But I also do kind of want the camper this winter so I can take my time with building it out. I just asked about a nice binary question of if they expect to have mine done before or after March and he said 'much sooner'. Sounds like a lasercutter delay that they're wrangling.

I’m order 172 and feel the same. Would love the camper sooner rather than later but not excited for the 1k mile winter drive on salty highways :(
Also, we paid final invoice in September and haven’t heard a peep since.

Y’all are crazy! I’d love to get some winter camping in in the Drifter. Best time to go camping when no one else is out!

Agreed. I'll be headed to the desert next week for about 6 days. No heater. No build out. How will I survive?!?!?

Yep, my Western Mountaineering 20 degree does it all. That and (rarely) Nalgene full of hot water.

Sometimes, I bring an additional wool blanket that I throw over my bag and it makes a pretty big difference. But last year I got a 0 degree bag, and sheesh that thing is warm!

Its not so much the temps that keep me from camping in the winter, just usually doing other things on weekends. Plus what the hell do you do after 5pm and the suns down haha

IMG_9456.HEIC.jpg IMG_9374.jpg You guys picking up your Drifter, check the coating with your thumbnail to see if its not cured. I noticed that the anchor for the awning was surrounded with a high ridge of coating. I was so excited to get the camper that I totally missed say anything. Now the entire upper section that attaches the tent to the side walls is cracking. Let Phil know and submitted a notification on line but like most, not much to no communication. The struts that lift the top have been getting weaker and it has become difficult to open. Open yours a few times. The front runner hatches are different from driver to passenger. Passenger has no cut out for the new logo and does not seal as the metal frame is bulged below the logo and creates a gap at the sealing surface. Driver hatch has broken welds that hold the vertical supports. Do a good inspection and take your time.
