Nice. I hope my theory is right then, which means we would be getting mostly accurate ETA's now!
Also, stoked to see yours go on, as a fellow Frontier owner.

I realize I've hit the point where no more news actually gets me excited or hopeful, which is a bummer because I haven't been as excited for a physical purchase pretty much ever. Between the reports of no camper months after paying and finalizing build, and not even knowing how many are in front of me or at what rate they're being produced, no incoming info really seems to offer much actual relief or excitement. 2020/21 has been wild and I don't fault Vagabond at all, because I'm not so much frustrated but more just bummed about the time its taking.

I've just resolved myself to being apathetic about it until I'm sitting in that shop watching it get lowered onto my truck while BSing with what I truly believe are a great group of people at Vagabond. Its a bummer its been so long and its a bummer that I feel in the dark about it, but its not a bummer knowing that I'm some number of days away from having a bitchin camper that perfectly fits my needs.

When VO gives you a build month, is that the month you are able to pick up your drifter? Or is that when the build will start?

As far as the last year or so.... I'm going to say neither. I was told 5/20-6/20 and then later told 1/21-2/21 both of which were neither being built or done being built. It sounds like mine (150) is being built now but most of the info I have to verify that is from other people on this forum.

My experience has been that people with similar build numbers start private chats and share all the updates they get from VO. Gives you a better sense of how your build is progressing without all of you bombarding VO with the same questions.

I heard some rumors that our build group were being finished up so I sent an email to see if there was a possible install day. I have a camping trip on the 16th and am REALLY hoping it will be done in time.

No word as of yet..... so I have no idea.

Sweet. Thats more than I know. You say "our build group." Do you know what range that is? I am hoping 159 is included!

Sorry I used that term very liberally. The build spreadsheet seems to show drifters being released in batches of 2-3 at a time. When i went to their shop a few years ago I recall room for about 6-8 campers (maybe). So I would refer to 6-8 campers being a build group.

I have no idea how accurate this is in reality. I also have no idea what build numbers they are working on. I got a similar email as you about materials coming in about when you got it so I hope we are getting close.

I’m 153, was told powder coat would take place two weeks ago. I had a flurry of emails from Phil, then crickets. I have left messages every day last week and emails the week before and still crickets. I’m hopping it’s going forward and no news is good news. 21 months is a long time to wait for anything and yes I know the world shut down this last year, but please reach out and talk to us!

Order 172 here. Getting very tired of not getting responses to emails and coming up on a second summer of sleeping on the ground in a tent. Anyone know how the process works to sell your spot? I’m not sure I’m ready to throw in the towel just yet but considering it.

    The frustration is real.

I think most people post that they want to sell somewhere on the vagabond faq or vagabond buildout pages. They are the most popular. From there someone will probably dm you. I don't know the tacomaworld rules say that's allowed or not.

It's easy. Find new buyer. They transfer money to you. You contact Vagabond Operations email and let them know. Phil replies back with "We have updated our records".

It would be great if you received yours in August. I was thinking the same thing 10 months into it. I did receive a quick response from Phil this morning. It is nice to know that a few more issues were being worked. We're all getting closer.)

April 8th I was told September build and it seemed reasonable, but even a month later it feels like that date is sliding. Same with you if you hear anything!

Yeah. I was cautiously optimistic that the radio silence on socials was a sign they were back at work on production after the laser cutting/shaping delays.
