Nice!!! Good news for everyone. It seems like the lead time between invoices and builds are getting shorter. I paid my last invoice in late November and it’s been crickets since…

Honestly not sure. Would love to say the new Tundra, but not quite sure, Full size though so it'll be upgraded to a Nomad

Good luck with the new build, tough choice on the new full sized trucks.

I believe you can change between drifter and Nomad up until the start actually building it.

Yea Phil said #1 I am able to push back my order till I at least secure a new ride timeline and #2, yea you can technically change anything right up until they start putting it together.

Just got off the phone with Phil (I set up a calendly thing) and he was very apologetic and assured me my camper (#193) would be ready by June. I also mentioned that I can’t pick the camper up very easily after June and he said that “worst case” scenario is possibly going to overland expo mountain and delivering it then. So it sounds like they are doing everything they possibly can to honor and accommodate people getting their campers. As far as the timeframe he says, I’ll be cautiously optimistic now and am kind of in the mindset of I’ll believe it when it see it, BUT I feel better after at least talking to him.

I also don’t think I’ve been shy about criticizing VO on here, but after talking to Phil my optimism is starting to come back that I’ll actually get my camper. Hopefully within a couple months of the new timeframe lol

He also mentioned this batch is pretty much done and the next batch has all the parts already in and that they should beginning to build as early as next week it sounds like.

Not related to ETAs but VO customer service instead. When I let Phil know I'm not getting power from my panel into the camper via the prewire, he offered to send new connectors and even a crimper so I could pull it all apart and check things.

Stoked more and getting their campers!

There’s Hope still! Man, if we could get ours in June I’d be pretty happy. I’m pregnant and due in November and I just want to get the Drifter so we can enjoy it before I’m huge and of course before we have baby too.

Congratulations! The Drifter will make camping much more comfortable with a small one.

I love that this thread has turned into a bit of an online family haha. Most of us have known each other on the TW forums for years while waiting for our campers and now we’re congratulating members on huge personal milestones. Heck ya Drifter fam jam! :bananadance:

Thanks y’all! That’s why we wanted a Drifter in the first place so hopefully the timing will align. It does feel like you guys are all old friends, I look forward to Drifter romps in the coming year!

Stoked to hear everyone is getting their drifter. I’m in the next batch, #181, but am very close to pulling the plug. I can’t miss another summer without a camper. The last batch took 3-4 months to build and deliver which puts the next batch into July. Anyone interested… pm me.
