FAQ: When will I get my Drifter? How long are people waiting?

If I remember correctly you have to pay TW to be a Vendor I believe. So most like VB did not pay TW. I really hope VB has all their finances in check. Love the product and the guys there are super helpful but its frustrating when emails and phone calls get unanswered.

I wanted to purchase the cold weather liner from Phil. But with many emails unanswered I decided to give up on that idea.

 

I’m with you on the conspiracy thing, but as we have all learned on this forum; communication means a great deal to many people.

In the future it may alleviate your frustrations to be pro-active and if at all possible make a post prior to removal stating that “due to _______ reasons we will be removing VO as a vendor and the existing forums will be moved to ______”





ETA (since apparently I’ve been banned from posting anymore): Phil emailed back today (July 13th) confirming he does in fact have Covid and that he is going to check progress this evening “once the crew is done”. So it doesn’t sound like they all have it. Seemingly good news for people in this batch given the last update. I’ve actually received multiple emails in the same week.

Covid is fucking endemic now. I’m sure most of us would test positive from being anywhere public the last 2 years. It’s always fucking something.

 

edit: I think I’m fucked getting a refund cause I bought a spot in line but I just filed a report with the FTC for fraudulent business practices. This is getting out of hand.

 

Nothing to add to the conversation, but wow!…really want the camper and truly disappointed with how this has played out. This thread is the only avenue I have had to stay informed on what is going on and I do appreciate the information shared. I also sympathize with those fed up and wanting to bail. Fingers crossed, too much invested to give up.

 

I heard from Phil via email today. I was supposed to have a phone call with him, but he confirmed he has covid and can’t speak at the moment.

As far as updates are concerned, he stated that he has a new laser cutter that has been catching up on everything and that these two batches will be finishing up shortly. For what it’s worth he’s promising a mid august completion for my camper. All I really have for you guys.
